Some of the temperatures were off but mostly were correct, or the app said it was 89 when it was really 88 or 87. That’s not really a big deal though. Don’t waste your time, also most of the reviews are below 3 stars yet somehow it’s average is higher which makes me question the validity of reviews now in general. Perhaps they pay a certain percentage more to increase their reviews to get ppl to acquire them. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Does Not Show Indoor Temperature *2022-11-08, version 1.3* I specifically downloaded this app because it stated that it measured INDOOR temperatures. HOWEVER…after spending more time than I care to admit trying to comb through the settings and features to figure out HOW to measure and view the indoor temps…I QUIT! It should not have been that difficult!! I even tried to find a customer support link to ask for instructions. NONE AVAILABLE! So I deleted the app as I find it an abomination that an individual is expected to have an IT degree in order to utilize this app. SO WRONG!!! ### 1/5 — Not the current temp *2022-10-14, version 1.3* This app just seems to show you the temperature the weather says it is. If you’re indoors and want to know the temperature of your exact location, it’s not that. I was in a building and one room the heater was working, the other it wasn’t, I wanted to know what each room was at, it just gave me the outdoor temperature. I could just check the weather for that not a help! ### 1/5 — Fraud. Fake. This is NOT a thermometer. *2022-09-28, version 1.3* It tells you the local outdoor temperature, same info you can look up on Wunderground etc., while LYING and claiming to be a thermometer. Then they push “ads” that pretend to be alerts: Your phone memory is full! Urgent! Pictures will be deleted! Press this button (to download our app) before the 15 second counter gets to zero!!!! This has NO business being on the App Store! ### 1/5 — Terrible App *2022-09-07, version 1.3* I downloaded this app and immediately started receiving pop-ups telling me that my memory was almost full and I would not be able to take photos or videos It very nicely offer to clean it up. Of course I closed it. I started thinking maybe that last audiobook was heavy on the data use so I checked. I had used 78GB of a TB. This app is crap. ### 1/5 — Just ads *2022-08-18, version 1.3* The app shows a cute thermometer but never gets around to displaying a temperature. (I disallowed location since it shouldn’t need that but perhaps it’s just getting outside temperature from a weather service, not actually measuring anything.) Tap on the few buttons and you get a barrage of ads. Deleted a few minutes after installing it. ### 1/5 — Do not use *2022-07-24, version 1.3* This app is misleading. It lead you to believe that it will detect the ambient temperature from your phone. It Walmart. Reports the same information that you were a local weather station would report. If you walk inside into the air Conditioning it does not said since the temperature difference. Don’t waste your time. ### 1/5 — Don’t allow location *2021-12-30, version 1.3* If you allow location, you’ll realize they’re just looking up the temperature in your area. I thought my heat unit was having the wrong temperatures and downloading this app was going to help, I was wrong. If you don’t allow a location access, it won’t tell you the temperature because that’s all this app can do. It tells you the weather outside. Useless ### 1/5 — Not what’s advertised *2021-11-04, version 1.3* I’m writing this review due to the fact that developers should not be able to just say whatever they want to in the description and then relies solely on the reviews to let us know exactly what this app is. This app does not do any temperature reading from the phone at all. This reads temperature from weather indexes search as the weather channel or some other weather reporting agency. ### 1/5 — Zero stars as it doesn’t work *2020-08-19, version 1.3* I have an iPhone and thankfully didn’t pay. I tested it out in several of rooms in my house, one of which had a portable AC unit blowing cold air into it, and no matter what room I was in it read 85* F (outside temperature was 100*). Pretty sure the room with the AC unit was not 85, also each room in the house (upstairs and downstairs) feels very different. I closed the app and opened in each room, still never changed. Junk app. Deleted it less than 5 mins after downloading it. ### 1/5 — Doesn't measure ambient temperature *2020-08-08, version 1.3* If I don't enable location services, then the app doesn't function. So it doesn't measure ambient temperature. When location services aren't enabled, it requests access to the microphone, which makes no sense. If you click on "settings" at that time, it brings you to location services. I love it. No matter where I go, it keeps track of the location and the temperature it shows is always on point.
