They will call and email you over and over if you register with no way to get off the lists. If you reply to their email even with interest, they don’t respond. I was super excited when I saw it advertised as we are currently searching to buy. I’m sure this app will grow over time and expand to more locations, however maybe they should consider only advertising to markets that have homes available to sell. ### 1/5 — Do not like *2019-03-16, version 1.6.7* I am looking for a house in Louisiana and apparently this app is only for a few states. Good luck to those in CA ### 1/5 — Horrible Search Function! *2018-12-16, version 1.6.2* I don’t write reviews often but this one made me, I took my time to download this app from a Instagram marketing because I’m interested in buying home. Come to find out when searching my zipcode they can not find anything outside of California. App needs work next time don’t market if the product is not ready. I’ll stick with Realtor! ### 2/5 — Great idea, mediocre execution *2018-09-30, version 1.5.9* I really wanted to like this app, but the ux is so terribly I just can’t bring myself to use it on such a serious transaction. The price predictor splash screen pops up every time a listing is viewed. It’s annoying and made me want to close the app the like 6th or 7th time I saw it. Property images take too long to load. Map grouping is illogical. Properties will group and ungroup themselves at various zoom levels, moving around the map to do so. Also moving between listing page and map resets the zoom level, requiring me to pinch in my desired area, ungroup and start again. Some properties only have a few images and those might be of just the surrounding area. The like icon saved/unsaved state is too similar. Why wouldn’t you fill in the heart as saved state like literally every other app out there?? This whole experience was disappointing. ### 1/5 — Just as bad as real agents *2018-09-27, version 1.5.9* Just downloaded the app to see what’s it about and see what homes are one there. Next day get a call from pushy agent saying we saw you down loaded our app etc. already trying to sell. If you’re in San Diego and looking to buy look up Cecil Austria. She’s a informative, very supportive and hard working. 5 Star rating on Zillow. Realtors put a personal touch on the process that understand your needs. Weeding realtors out to a customer service chat labeled “your expert” sounds like a horrible idea. Sure let me have someone handle hundred of thousand of dollars of my hard earned money with someone I’ve never met. Yeah ok, this is gonna be a no for me. ### 1/5 — What is there to say? *2018-08-26, version 1.5.8* You need to have personal touch to the art of selling someone’s home and helping them move forward in life. Statistics and numbers can only do so much. You get what you pay for remember that! ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Condescending and apathetic Agent, Company supported *2021-10-26, version 2.153.0* As a first time home buyer in this hot Bay Area market, we thought Reali could really help us strengthen our offers. But our experience is a cautionary tale. The agent provided by the company was condescending and apathetic. He kept talking about comps in the neighborhood and how informed buyers(didn’t know he was talking to Ivy League MBAs with finance background) would waive everything and jump right into making an offer (for a fixer upper SFH). The worst part is that when we tried to contact the company about getting a different agent, they stopped responding. ‘Good Riddance’, I suppose. ### 1/5 — Disrespectful and incompetent *2021-10-18, version 2.153.0* I used Reali and signed up for one of their agents. The agent was not only incompetent and didn’t know anything about the neighborhood or the houses he was showing is, but also very disrespectful towards me and my family. I wanted to give them a second chance and asked for a different agent but their lead went completely silent. To sum up, their agents lack professionalism , are not competent and customer service is non existent. You’re better off picking a random agent on Redfin or Zillow than Reali. ### 1/5 — Hot garbage *2021-08-21, version 2.150.0* Hot garbage ### 1/5 — Used to be Amazing! Now... Meh. *2020-11-06, version 2.2.0* I worked with Reali back in 2017 when they were industry “disrupting” and the process was super smooth and we purchased our first home with ease and an awesome rebate to boot. Fast Forward 3 years...... Wow, the difference time makes. They’ve moved to the same tactics as other real estate brokers. Misinformation is ramped on their website, the trade-in program while in theory is a good idea. By the time you pry all of the relevant information from them, it’s just a huge turnoff and requires too much money to be held. One hand doesn’t know what the other hand is doing and it’s just a complete mess. Their “alternative” solution? Do it the traditional way... Hmmm, you got it! Just not with Reali. PASS ### 1/5 — Not using this app again *2020-11-02, version 2.2.0* Just got a call from one of the relators and when she found out that I wanted to possibly rent a home first she was no longer interested in speaking to me and said, “never mind I’m going to let you go” with a sigh and the biggest attitude ever. Plus you have to sign up to even look at homes. Instead of dealing with local brokers or real estate people you deal with someone through the app. They cut the commission to less but they still get some. Not worth the hassle since they call, leave message, text, and email. And it is free!!!! :) ### 5/5 — First time home buyers here! *2019-06-20, version 1.7.0* As a FHB we needed help with all aspects of home buying we were also strapped for cash and need all the cash backs we could get to help with furniture purchases and to keep our savings cushioned. One cool thing about Reali is you get a much larger amount of cash back compared to some other companes and the closing cost fee was 10k less compared to Quicken soo we also went with their lender, Lenda/Reali Mortgage. Our agent Abel was always a phone call or text away he walked us through everything and explained real estate jargon to make sure we understood the whole process. We had two traditional agents before my brother in law told me about Reali and lets just say they sucked. I was always being sent homes I didn't like and dealing with agents bring their grandkids to showings and the other one wasn't knowledgeable and gave us inaccurate information about the home buying process. Gaining full control by only perusing the homes I know we liked because I did the searching and just telling my Reali agent we want to make an offer was an ideal situation. Having them there to answer questions or don the paperwork was all I needed and I would recommend them to anyone! ### 5/5 — Awesome service! *2019-06-09, version 1.7.0* I’ve just bought my house with Reali. Having worked with other agents in the past, I found the experience with Reali unparalleled. My agent, John Nelson, was a true professional; he gave my wife and I insightful advice, and was very proactive throughout the process. I recommend Reali wholeheartedly to anyone who wants to buy or sell a house, and want a 21st century experience. ### 5/5 — Realtors need to get a real job. *2019-03-02, version 1.6.5* We are so ready for this. It’s a conflict of interest to have a realtor. They don’t care about you they want to make a sell because if they don’t they don’t eat which it’s understood but it’s a conflict of interest. Real state agents should be ilegal. And once self should be able to write an offer. And that’s the only thing they do anyways. ### 5/5 — Exceeded my expectations ☺️ *2018-12-30, version 1.6.3* A friend of mine referred me to Reali for my house hunting, and I have to say that they go above and beyond on every front imaginable. You can communicate with them via chat/phone during business hours, somebody will be available to help you, you're not at the mercy of waiting for somebody to get back to you, they're always ready to help you with questions/concerns. I bought my place through Reali and I didn't have to see my agent even once, everything was done electronically and it all worked out great. I say that as a first time home buyer who didn't know much about the process, having Reali by my side saved the day! ### 5/5 — Best App ever *2018-08-13, version 1.5.8* For far to long we’ve been at the mercy of agents working for their commission only. Reali allowed me to ask questions at any time and have access to a team of certified real estate experts. Plus I saved 12k at the close of sale.
