After successfully completing calibration, when loading into Beat Saber, the mixed reality camera is positioned in the wrong place, pointing behind the player instead of to the front. What’s really annoying though is that I don’t always have a second person available to spot me when I’m setting up videos for beat saber. It would really be helpful if I could use the front camera in addition to the back camera so that way I can actually see what I’m doing instead of having to use a mirror to see the screen or constantly walk back and forth between my guardian boundary and the device. Also there is some lag, but not super bothersome. Please add support for both cameras, it would make life so much easier. ### 2/5 — So much lag *2023-01-06, version 0.6.0* The set up is easy, but as soon as I turn my game on (synth riders specifically) it starts lagging so much. When I turn mixed reality off there is no lag. I have the settings to .25 quality, my iPhone 12 is charged at least 90% and my WiFi speed is at least 200 mbps. I was able to get it working just fine a few days ago but ever since there has been so much lag I can’t use the app and can no longer record any content. ### 2/5 — Freezing *2022-10-14, version 0.6.0* Hello 🌸 It freezes at the 3rd step of Calibration. After all the setup and even buying a phone stand, I found that it made my quest 2 lag… badly! You can’t even play a game while using this app because the connection makes your VR lag to a point where it will freeze for multiple seconds. Very inconvenient if you are playing a timing game like beatsaber. However, I felt compelled to write this one. This app is supposed to be beneficial and helping the user capture mixed reality. However I will say this app does nothing it claims to do. First off, the set up alone takes a team of scientists not the average user. It’s like the developers didn’t not think this through. They simply haphazardly put together an app and threw it out there. No matter what one does, this app will not connect to your Oculus 2 so don’t even try. For people trying to figure it out, first you need to get the mixed reality capture app on oculus. It will show you an ip address, which is what you enter into the input field on this app. You then have to be in an meta MRC supported app for mixed reality to work. ### 5/5 — Fantastic! You will also need to load the calibration app onto your Quest. 2. The phone app won’t record video. It will just cast. To record video, you need to use your phone’s screen record functionality.
