I go into the app, no red icons or exclamation points...so exit and alert badges are still there...3! I go back into the app, opened the menu, still no visible or pending alerts...went into each window then exited the app...still there. My bug reports went unanswered. Overall I didn’t see the value and it was a major hassle. Since they finally closed my account I changed from one star to two. ### 1/5 — Wacky investment advice *2022-04-25, version 1.3.2* At first it’s intriguing to see home values and such, but when you look closely, most of what is in this app just doesn’t make sense. They are telling me that my driveway would be $8k to redo, but the going rate for a driveway my size is over $40,000 when done in the cheapest surface. Then they say a $2k water heater will increase my home value by over $20k! Huh? Most of what is in this app is way off of reality, rendering it pretty useless. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Sign in with Apple doesn’t work on app or website. *2025-03-02, version 1.22.3* Tried “sign in with Apple” on the website and got the error below. The app itself failed “sign in with Apple” as well. “The change you wanted was rejected. Maybe you tried to change something you didn't have access to.” ### 1/5 — App does not work *2024-10-30, version 1.22.0* Verification does not work and continues to bounce back to the App Store. ### 1/5 — Warning - Advisor misleading about fee *2024-08-23, version 1.21.1* Before starting to use their service, the initial advisor stated that I would need to pay their fee of $299.00 before they start working with me to find bids with contractors, then if I ended up not signing with a contractor that I like, it would be refunded. The reality is that they won’t refund you, they change their statement and say that they will only refund it once you sign with one of their contractors. ### 1/5 — Rip off *2024-06-06, version 1.21.0* It’s been months when I have sent texts and emails weekly. They took my money and never called back. I’ve had 1.5 estimates in 4 months. Absolute waste of money. ### 1/5 — Avoid Realm *2024-03-21, version 1.20.6* They will connect you with new comers contractors / designers, if they work great, you took a risk and realm got a coupon if they don’t work, you paid both realm and professional and don’t expect any help from realm. Avoid this middle man at all cost ### 1/5 — Not very useful *2023-09-14, version 1.17.0* Installed the app and received call to sell their paid service (help you to plan your renovation and source contractor). Since I am in the market for contractor, I paid and tried their service. My conclusion was completely useless. They basically send my project to their list of contractors and see who is interested. Then, schedule a walkthrough with me and provide the bid. My project is pretty small and didn’t get a lot of interest. Realm project manager is not responsive at all, it took me over 2 months to get 3 bids and missed my timeline. I had questions and wanted clarification on the bid. They never came back to me. In term of price, the bids are not competitive based on my other recent project. Overall, realm helped me to schedule 3 walkthroughs and get 3 bids in two months time. If I could give 0 stars, I would. I was under the impression that I could find a contractor to do renovations on my house but it only allows me to “add projects”. This is ridiculous and prices quoted by them are definitely not the prices contractors are asking. They really made the process so much easier and took all of the guesswork out of my ADU project.
