At first my biggest complaint was how hard it was to gain another star for any player I have. I currently have 19 players, and only 1 star for 4 players. Which also means I’ve been stuck on the same levels for quite a while now because I have the same starting characters. I’ve spent real money and countless amounts of gems on chests and the 3k it costs for the new player wheel that gets me nothing except coins I can’t use. Today I went to go play my elemental dungeons, the very second I opened it the app bugged out and closed, I opened it up and my key was used. Extremely frustrating since you only get 2 to begin with, just to get 20 stones when the characters take thousands to level up their combat card, and I’m already watching all the commercials I can on top of spending money. So I like the game concept, but hate how it works. It’s got a long way to go and I can’t guarantee I’ll wait around for it. ### 2/5 — Promising game ruined by last update *2025-10-15* The last update, which the log claims was just bug fixes, drastically nerfed the strength of characters or massively buffed the difficulty of levels. Before the update, I was regularly clearing wave 9 on the level I was at and after I can’t clear wave 1. A previous level that I hadn’t perfected but could regularly complete, I can’t even finish now. There was no warning these changes were coming and they aren’t even mentioned in the patch notes. An already slow grind has been made exponentially worse and players have lost significant progress. I’ve been playing daily since close to launch, but now I think I’ll drop it. It is devastating to have your progress undone on a whim. It’s a shame, I was really enjoying it up to this point. ### 1/5 — Terrible Practices *2025-10-14* To progress the drop rates for hero stars are super difficult to pull. You can be stuck for months before making progress. Or they update the game with a new mechanic and make all the monsters more difficult so you have to reset grinding to get back to where you were. There’s also a large lack of communication with their players and chats get deleted often. ### 4/5 — Fun but slow *2025-09-23* If you don’t buy the 2x speed this game is soooo freaking slow lol it’s really annoying ### 3/5 — Good but *2025-09-18* Game need improvement. At the beginning we can not load the old games. Is too slow. ### 2/5 — Progression Lock *2025-08-28* The pull rates for things to improve your heroes are too low and it’s easy to be stuck on a level for a month. ### 3/5 — Game crash *2025-08-12* Lvl 17 and won’t open anymore :( ### 3/5 — Gotcha Gaming Eventually *2025-08-12* Game is fun and characters are unique. Once I reached stage four of the elemental dungeon (one of the only ways to level up characters), the starting character (magic guy) only has the power and attention span to kill a singular enemy before the board is completely overwhelmed. That means that, without being able to level up during the round, I will never be able to win without paying. You have to pay to switch out the primary character, so you are starting every round with a magic character and are not allowed to strategize based on the element of the map. Was fun until I started hitting this wall, and there is no way I’m paying $5 just to swap characters. ### 5/5 — Promising, but needs refined *2025-07-21* The gameplay is great. I adore how completely different each hero behaves. However… the elemental strength and weakness effects are far too strong if you want to make increasing the star level on heroes so impossible as it is now. Getting 3 stars on a mission or clearing an elemental dungeon at all REQUIRES having extra starting heroes of the proper element. But I am nearly level 30 now and still can only begin with the starter hero. If I pay money I have seen events to get hero tokens. But the only one with a guaranteed token was $25, all other rely on random chance and seem likely to need $100+ to maybe get ONE token. There simply is not $25 worth of gameplay here. And with 5 elements to cover, that would mean a minimum $125 and loads of patience for such events to come around. Give more chances to get that first star. Monetize the second and beyond stars heavily if you want whale funding.
