Cant make payments, cant download bills, nothing🤷🏼‍♂️ ### 1/5 — Awful App full of bugs *2023-07-24, version 1.5.8* Agree with the other reviews. Terrible App. Rarely lets me submit meter reads. Sometimes the option to submit reads will disappear all together , other times the options will appear but when you do select them, the app will click through to a blank page which doesn’t let you submit any readings. Not once has it shown any usage insights and it will also say the data is not available, despite being 8 months into being a rebel customer . Not fit for purpose what so ever. ### 1/5 — Terrible App *2023-04-17, version 1.5.2* What is going on with your app, i now cannot read my bill's, i just get an error message. when i attempt to submit meter readings it will not allow me to submit them or i get a blank white screen. Absolutely shocking considering it went from terrible to working great then back to terrble again as soon as i can change from Rebel Energy the better. Come on Rebel get your finger out and get these issues sorted ASAP ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2023-03-25, version 1.5.2* Simply doesn’t work. App is slow to respond if it does at all, often hangs up with useless error messages. Can’t see any Information about my bills or insights. There are no updated usages for gas or electricity. I am having serious doubts about Rebel Energy since joining with them. The App is very poor and extremely mediocre for an energy company. You say on site that direct debits don’t increase unless I’m using more, I used less energy and my DD still increased with only 4 days notice which I find is wrong. I’m in considerable amount of credit but you still increase the DD for no apparent reason whatsoever or reasoning when I called about it.. Contacted rebel nothing done so far. Very disappointing and bad customer service. I don’t get any authorization link when I submit my email address. I’ve spoken to them (in South Africa) on multiple occasions and they’re unable to provide details of when it will ever be fixed. Utterly and completely useless. Pathetic ### 1/5 — Terrible app *2024-07-17, version 1.6.5* Absolutely terrible app. Takes multiple attempts to send readings, and then they usually just ignore it and come up with their own reading. Can’t load any of my bills, it’s practically unusable ### 1/5 — Energy direct debits. *2024-03-28, version 1.6.2* Just had a devastating message wanting us to pay £420 per month for duel fuel. Not sure why we were only asked for £120. I tried to change the direct debit, to £180. But this wasn’t done. We have now apparently wracked up a huge bill! We cannot pay this amount! We should have been paying a higher amount from the start! Sadly it was impossible to get any customer service from Rebel, they constantly ignored all my emails. I am sick of this poor customer service! ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2024-03-06, version 1.6.2* Rubbish app, insights don’t work, bills disappear so loads in credit but then again may owe them a fortune no one knows!! ### 1/5 — Rebel energy and their poor app *2024-02-11, version 1.6.2* I was supposedly fitted with the smart meter in October last year. The app and the meter do not work. They were never commissioned correctly and will never be commissioned correctly as my metres were not compatible and therefore have to be completely changed. It has took me nearly 5 months to get this far, I wish I have never gone with rebel they customer service is simply shocking. The staff are not trained and you get a different answer every single time so I would like to say I like the app but given I have never seen it working in five months, I have to give it zero score . Rebel Energy, I think will be another flyby night energy company as they simply cannot deliver just like this app ### 1/5 — Reading not getting recorded properly *2023-12-27, version 1.6.2* Hi, I had submitted the readings for electricity and gas in the app. However I am not able to view the reading submitted for gas. I filled it again just to be sure if I made any mistake. But the reading is not there. ### 1/5 — An energy app where you can’t make payments *2023-11-08, version 1.6.1* What’s the point of this app? You can’t make payments for your energy bills despite all the bills saying you can. There’s simply no option to do so. They listen to you and totally understand your situation and do everything for you. ### 4/5 — Payment method *2025-01-23, version 1.6.5* I have been using this app for almost 2 years. It's still inconvenient to do direct debit. I had to call in or make monthly payments by writing the banking details every time. The catch is that email never arrives (obviously tried several times, checked spelling and spam nos). Leaving 2 stars (not 1) because customer support was quick in responding to my raising the issue - though all they could say was that there have been several reports like this and that they would raise it to the technical team. ### 2/5 — Lives to wish for better *2023-03-13, version 1.5.2* Has a good idea. But too frequently after login in there is no field of “submit reading”. And when it’s appears , then it’s to slow.
