This is by far the best manual video cam out there. Why? What makes it different than the rest? It boils down to 2 things. Simplicity and in-app storage. This app is simple in the good way. In the way that gives you all the capabilities you want, but in a package that doesn’t get in the way of your creativity. Plenty of other apps offer exactly the same features, but they’re so ugly they’re not worth opening. And the absolute standout feature is this app’s ability to store your videos within itself before sending them to your photos app. I absolutely love this feature and haven’t found another app that does it. I love it because I use iCloud Photo Library and I love the idea that all the stuff I shoot is stored in a “holding ground” giving me the opportunity to pick the best videos before every single video I take goes straight into iCloud to get pushed to all my other products. Genius all around.

Could you please incorporate the feature to log recording, considering that the new iPhone 15 Pro now supports this capability? Additionally, it would be great if we could also include the option to apply LUTs so that we can preview the final look of the footage we intend to capture with these LUTs.

however, accidentally tap the screen and it can be a kludge tryna get Autofocus back which got me in a pickle out in the field

also at least once Ext Mic failed to connect and it recorded with onboard Mic … big big big EXT letters might help us easily see whether Ext Mic has been detected or not :)

Die App ist garnicht mal so schnell 
Schade das man nicht ( wie bei iPhone Film App) beim rec Modus die verschiedene Linsen auswählen kann. 

Das grössere Problem. Nach kurzer Zeit ist mit Filmen Schluss. 
Ich habe ein Iphone13pro und Akku ist 
Ist ca 1-2 Stunden leer. 
Bitte eine Support Erklärung !

This has been my favourite video recording app for a long time, however, the last few versions have had some quality issues. The video recorded flickers when enabling auto focus. Sometimes, it’s barely noticeable and at other times it’s clearly visible and annoying. This was the same on my iPhone 13 Pro Max as it is on my current iPhone 14 Pro Max. None of the others that I’ve tried have the same issue as this software so I can only presume that the developers have changed something within the code for this to behave like that. For this reason, I’ve had to switch to other software.

ProRes録画のエラーのログを送って、半年待ってたけど、結局あいつらが諦めて、プロレスのサポートをカットした。。。別のアプリでProResの録画問題なくサポートされているのにと言っても無駄でした、、、おすすめしない。

They just give up on support ProRes and cut of the support. When I told them another app supporting it without problem. They tell they will fix this, but finally just give up .... This is not good. I'm not to respect this.

Filmed 5 mins footage and then it told me there's a bug and the footage wasn't saved. Don't use this rubbish app if you don't want to waste your effort!

This is the same developer that threw their Camera+ customers under the bus by “selling” it to another developer who will not honor previous purchases. Beware, the same will probably happen with this when they decide they need more money.

What’s the point of adding tentacle to shoot with accurate time code if you can’t lock shutter and exposure when using this app? I tried to find information to lock shutter and exposure but latenite is by far the worse developer I have seen when it comes to instructions and tutorials. There is literally nothing apart from an ad selling the wonders of this app on their website.

REC started out great as a more customizable video app than what Apple ships with their devices. 

Then they suddenly removed 4K 60fps HDR video and said it wasn’t supported. Yet… it comes stock on the iPhone. 

So, if you’re looking to pay for an app that records video like a four year old iPhone and crashes in the process - this is your app.
