This is by far the most often used app on my phone. I depend upon it for regular calculations as well as the more complicated formulas that I use almost daily as a Realtor. I cannot tell you how nice it is to be able to tell a client how much a payment will be or what the difference between payments will be when comparing homes. I have never had a problem with the application. It has worked flawlessly for me, and I have had it for well over a year. Kudos to the developer. It's not the "prettiest" app out there (although I have no issue with the aesthetics given the purpose of the app) but it's the best at getting the job done. I love it! The only suggestion that I'd have is to add a button to your info screen that links right to the "Mortgage Calculations" instructions so that users who are inexperienced with this type of calculator can find those instructions without having to scroll down into the "about" screen and you don't use "inpatient" users who won't dig for the instructions. Enter data in the various fields OK but touch the go arrow and poof—quits. Now totally unusable. iOS 7? ### 1/5 — Do Not Buy *2011-08-05, version 1.5.4* This is the worst app I have ever bought... I have never left leas than 3 stars but this app does nothing.. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!! ### 2/5 — FHA Loans Upfront MIP *2009-07-30, version 0* Please add option to add upfront MIP (1.75%) on FHA loans. Oher than that calculator is perfect! ### 2/5 — Disappointed *2009-01-14, version 0* This app does not take into consideration down payment and annual taxes. You can manually subtract the down payment from the total amount of the loan before having the app do the calculations but what about the taxes? ### 2/5 — Very Good Start *2008-11-25, version 0* Very practical idea to combine a traditional calc with finance calc together. However, "+", "-", "x" and "/" never work properly. 2+5-3= - 6, 5x2-4= - 1,....., 3x3+4=10 and so on, why? Fix it, please. I would to be able to enter a % and let the calculator do the math for the monthly MI. Other than that, it's great. As a mortgage loan officer, I sometimes find myself without my HP finance calculator and receive that phone call from my realtor asking me to calculate how much a payment would be for a potential client. I always have my phone and thought it would be nice to have a simple but effective finance calculator. I also like that it is a basic calculator too so you don't have to flip back and forth between this app and the orginal calc app that came with the phone like some of the other specific mortgage apps out there. **To Developer** Can you please add an easy way to calculate interest only payments and maybe a way to email the amortization table? And if the email of the amortization table is possible, to list what the criteria is of that table. I've used a number of such calculators and this one RE Calculator Pro is by far the easiest to use AND the best.
