## What is Recall?

You know the word "ubiquitous." You understand it when you read it. But when was the last time you actually used it in a sentence?

That gap between words you recognize and words you produce is real. Recall was built to close it.

WHY RECOGNITION IS NOT ENOUGH

Most vocabulary apps test whether you recognize a word — flip a card, pick the right answer, move on. But research shows recognition and production are different skills. You can "know" thousands of words and still freeze when trying to use them in speech or writing.
