Setting a reminder for holidays, appears if you don’t repeat but if you repeat annually, it doesn’t save. Can’t even let them know so they can fix it. Would also like to see built in Holidays. Was going to do the subscription, but without support, not sure I will. ### 3/5 — Recall Cue *2025-10-26, version 6.0.4* Worked great as far as agenda for first few weeks. Since update to app, not working well at all. Hoping glitches are worked out soon or won’t be keeping subscription. The support options thru the app are not helpful for my issue and so I'm waiting for a response from the developer. 🤞🤞 ### 3/5 — Great concept but falls a bit short *2024-09-11* This is a great solution for elderly that need some oversight and aren’t technically savvy. One of the features that peaked my interest was the motion detection. However most days there was no motion detected even during the day when I was in the room. I tried several different locations and wasn’t able to find success before the trial period ended. So I won’t be subscribing to the service. The other issue is that it draws a lot of battery power and even plugged in my iPad wasn’t able to keep the charge all day and night. ### 5/5 — Great for keeping the family involved ! *2024-07-21* Such a great tool to keep our family connected- the video calls and reminders give us a chance to communicate easily with my mom with dementia! This is such a helpful app - makes it so I don’t have too call my parents multiple times a day with reminders. Previous review: This worked well for me a year ago, except my parents kept turning it off. I re-downloaded it recently and trained them to not turn it off, but now the alarms are not working - they seem to work for a day and then quit, even tho I’ve got them set to go off every day… ### 5/5 — Perfect for reminders for my father *2024-06-05* This was super helpful to remind my father, who has dementia, what time we’d be coming to visit. His aide loved it too. We’d send messages and photos throughout the day that he loved to get. Highly recommend this. ### 5/5 — Wonderful app! *2024-05-15* I have the app loaded on a Samsung Galaxy tablet. It’s awesome to be able to remotely display reminders and greetings for my elderly mother who lives alone. The display is very easily read, even from across the room. It always shows the day, date, and time, and any message or photos you might want to display. I use the “check in” feature daily. This gives me the ability to do a video call with her. I especially like the auto-answer feature which means mom does not have to tap anything to answer my video call. I also use this “check-in” feature to peek in on her, to make sure she is taking her pills on time. Or if she doesn’t answer my call on her regular phone, I can use the “check-in” feature to see into her apartment and make sure she hasn’t fallen or is incapacitated in some way. Those are the features I use the most, the “check-in” and the display of reminders and greetings. Of course you can also remotely display photos and even set up albums to run like a slideshow. And other cool features as well. Just to insure that mom does not accidentally mess-up or close the app, I’ve set up several things. First of all the app has a toggle to prevent accidental sign-out. That’s good. I also set up the Samsung tablet to prevent all notifications and automatic app updates from the Google play store. Even the security updates, which I can do manually when I visit. Then I used the tablet’s ability to “pin” the app so it will always display, even if someone touches the screen. It’s just all all-round stellar app—such a great help to me! Thank you to the developers! (By the way, if anyone needs help ensuring that their elderly loved one takes the correct pills at the correct time, I use the Adamson Timely Med Smart Pill dispenser, which comes with an app that enables you to monitor the dispenser. It did the minimal thing we needed most - let us post daily reminders to our senior parent from our phone to her iPad. Now it requires a subscription to share anything at all - and it’s not a cheap subscription at that. Deleting. ### 1/5 — Don’t subscribe *2025-03-05, version 5.0.4* App initially worked well but after the recent update motion no longer works and there is no support to assist. We just opened again today and the interface had changed and neither she or I can longer see the calendar I had created and we could see yesterday. My parents love it as well. Then, it stopped working properly. I also paid for a subscription. I have not had any support on this issue and it’s very frustrating but more so for my parents who want it working again. I am hoping I can change this review back to 5 stars as it truly is a great useful app (when it works). ### 2/5 — Amazing but…. *2026-02-13* I was grateful when we found this app and it has been immensely helpful. The current issue is they are doing so many updates, great yes but each time they do the we have to get to my dads to physically update the iPad in order for it to continue working. Our parent had a hard time with schedule, writing things in calendar etc. Lives alone so no one there daily to help with. We put a tablet in bedroom, living room & kitchen. We can easily update her activities remotely so she sees up to date info every day. She loves the clock with day of the week and weather, it really helps keeps her on track. ### 5/5 — All the right functions for dementia support *2024-11-15, version 4.5.91* App has been clearly developed by someone living in the shoes of a remote carer for someone with dementia. Lots of flexibility with calendar function, messaging function, ability to do a video call check-in and even motion sensing to help understand how the patient’s habits through the day (and night) are evolving. Also very helpful that carers using the carer view can see the full diary allowing this to become the scheduling tool of choice, while only piping through the next couple of appointments to the patient to avoid confusion. Love that I can take screenshots of the patient’s screen so I can understand how the messages are appearing her end as I make changes to the settings. All in all a massive help for the nightmare of remote caring. ### 5/5 — Wow! Just wow! *2024-07-21* I finally found a room that allows my children to communicate with their grandfather across the country. Dad has early dementia and we are seeing he has trouble with phone communication and remembering names. This has been a real help!
