About

ReCard is a flashcard learning app designed to structurally solve the biggest challenge in memorization-based study: people stop opening the app, and learning breaks down. Instead of relying on the learner’s willpower to start studying, ReCard replaces it with a system where learning comes to you through notifications. Users can enable or disable notifications on a per-deck basis, set the number of notifications per day (from 1 to 8), and define the time range during which notifications are delivered. During everyday idle moments—such as meals, commuting, or short breaks—ReCard sends random flashcard questions via push notifications, prompting users to instantly realize what they have forgotten. Tapping a notification takes the user directly to the answer screen. After each question, users can choose whether to stop or continue, allowing them to start studying with minimal effort. At the same time, the interface is designed to naturally encourage “just one more,” often turning a short session into longer, more meaningful study time. After answering, users evaluate each card as Again / Hard / Remembered / Easy. These evaluations are reflected in the review schedule, supporting long-term memory retention through spaced repetition. ReCard is not just a quiz app—it repeatedly triggers active recall within daily life, directly translating learning actions into real results. As a result, ReCard shifts learning from “study you have to open yourself”, which depends heavily on motivation, to “study that automatically accumulates”, triggered by notifications. This approach replaces unproductive downtime with learning and allows even busy users to steadily increase their study volume—simultaneously improving retention, consistency, and learning density.
