I cancelled before but decided to come back. Nothing has changed. So I am canceling again. ### 3/5 — Not worth the trouble *2026-08-23, version 11.2* Every time I open the app to scan receipts I have to reconnect almost every account. Amazon, Walmart, my email, etc. The few points I get are barely worth all the time and trouble it takes to reconnect my accounts. When I sent a ticket to support they said I violated their terms of service. EXCUSE ME???? I’m so done. ### 2/5 — Issues with redeeming points for over a month *2026-08-19, version 11.2* I have been trying to redeem my points for over a month now. And each time it locks my account and tells me to email support. I do that, get told my account is fine and that they unlocked it. But that there’s an issue with redeeming points and that they’re trying to fix it. So once again I reach out today and ask if it’s just my account or what. Only to be told they are still trying to fix the issue and will reach out when it’s fixed. It’s been over a month, I just want to redeem my points and be done. At this point this app is causing more frustrations than anything else. I’ve had it for years and since this last update nothing is the same. ### 1/5 — Absolutely DO NOT USE *2026-08-17, version 11.2* This app is slow at best. Currently it has taken months to “fix” an error with redeeming rewards that continually locks your account. I continue to get replies from the staff saying “we appreciate your patience” and nothing has been resolved with this issue. I’m waiting to redeem $130 worth of rewards so it’s more than frustrating. I WOULD ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND TO EVERYONE TO NOT USE THIS APP. There are many other receipt scanning apps that provide far more rewards at a faster pace than this. For example: Fetch, ReceiptJar, CoinOut, Frisbee & Pogo. All of which are far easier to use. You can thank me later. I will be deleting my app once the rewards are finally given to me. ### 1/5 — Very slow. *2026-08-17, version 11.2* This app is extremely slow. I use other receipt scan apps and they are very efficient and fast. I’ve had some picky ones, but this is one of the pickiest ones around. I’m constantly getting notified saying that receipt is out of date when it’s not that it doesn’t read a date, but the date is clearly on there among other issues and it’s just at a point where it’s not even worth even contacting support about it. ### 1/5 — Suspicious App! *2026-08-15, version 11.2* TOO MANY Repeated attempts at trying to login to Amazon to reconnect with ReceiptPal. ### 1/5 — Can’t sign in *2026-08-15, version 11.2* It’s not letting sign into my Amazon account ### 4/5 — Good app *2026-08-15, version 11.2* The only reason I gave this a 4 out of 5 is because it takes soooo long to get a reward. You have to do a lot of leg work before actually being able to go cash out. Other than that, it’s a great app and very easy to navigate. ### 2/5 — Ongoing problems with Amazon login *2026-08-15, version 11.2* UPDATE: I continue to have a problem with my account staying connecting to Amazon. It’s becoming more frequent. Twice now in the last month it’s disconnected. And trying to reconnect is ridiculous! I have tried my email and password, my phone number and password, and requesting a one time code via the app. It still will not let me reconnect my account! Whatever the issue is the developer needs to figure it out and fix it. | I submitted a receipt that had the date smudged a bit from grease on the restaurant staff’s hands. You can see EVERYTHING but the stupid computer reader didn’t pick up the date. So I sent them any email asking for credit. Did I get it? Nope. Apparently staff is incapable of reading a receipt themselves and entering the data. So we get screwed. In turn you lost a star ### 3/5 — Amazon reconnect keeps looping *2026-08-15, version 11.2* Its happened before and after I updated the app. The app asks me to log in, then I put the password and then it loops ### 1/5 — Multiple expired receipt’s when they are valid *2026-08-13, version 11.2* I seem to get a lot of expired receipt messages for receipts that are from the previous 1-2 days and it says they can’t be resubmitted. When you view them in the log the date is clearly visible along with the store name and amount. I use fetch and coin out also and have no issues with the same receipts. I’m updating my review to give it less stars. I uploaded 7 receipts today and none was older than 6 days. One it says wasn’t able to be read even thought it was clear on the picture and the others were all expired, even ones from yesterday. And it says they all can’t be resubmitted. This has to be the worst receipt app I’ve used. Get Fetch or coin out. I NEVER have issues with them. Avoid this one ### 1/5 — Waste of time and EFFORT *2026-08-13, version 11.2* So not only has this issue happened before, but they never suspend in my account until I went to cash in a large amount of points and what was funny. The first time this happened they put my account on hold, I emailed it was released then they put it on hold when I tried to cash in for just a $10 Amazon card and then released it this time. I hadn’t even snapped any receipts for two or three days. All of a sudden I go to Cash in a large amount of points and my account is on hold and I was accused of cheating or something because of my Walmart receipts which we have three adults in my house Walmart two minutes down the street and we have a large family. I have always followed the rules, especially after the first time I was like oh OK can’t ask friends for receipts and I haven’t and I referred the App to the friends and my large family, not only did I not cheat I was playing an arcade game, which I hardly do and I was winning so I just say it’s really convenient that nothing happened. No warnings no stopping my account because I was using too many Walmart receipts no like I stated, haven’t snapped any receipts for a few days and then my emails to Support. I guess Maybe? got a little rude. I don’t know, but all I have to say is they suspended my account, after the second email because usually it takes so long when they would put your account on hold so the rules are you cannot use from the same store more than five receipts which I hadn’t because they would’ve put my account on hold right away like they did a couple months ago so what makes me angry is that I started putting a little more effort into using this app but now just like I stated in my email before it’s such a headache when it comes to cashing in points that’s what they don’t want obviously because I know I’m not the only one in the United States of America that has a huge family and I’m great by the way, so my family is very large so if I was you, I would either watch what I say to customer support because you don’t get a phone call or just don’t snap very many receipts to earn points and if you do have a large family and you’re within the rules, obviously none of that counts because they were accepting every receipt and everything to earn all those points for a long time and to not have snap to receipt for three days and try to get my points and it just went on hold. I was playing my arcade game went back to cash in some points and mind you most of our receipts are from Walmart being so conveniently 2 minutes drive from the house and if you knew our town, you would see why we would go to what was more convenient anyways there’s my warning I am going to find another app, but me and my family they’re deleting theirs or just not using that because nobody wants to put in that much effort just to get frustrated ### 1/5 — Oh *2026-08-13, version 11.2* Logged back in to see that I have 0 points, all my accounts have been disconnected, and I lost the ability to be able to cash out even on the 1st level and I believe I had level 3 rewards unlocked. So I guess I’ll just delete the app. ### 2/5 — Painfully Slow! *2026-08-12, version 11.2* This app is PAINFULLY slow in every way possible. Every action shows a lag before the next one, so you're just sitting there waiting and waiting for something to load. It's also slow on earning points. I started doing this more than a year ago and I still have not reached the $100 cash card which is my goal. I'm the 'go big or go home' type so I've been trying to get to the highest points level and it's been nearly 2 years. It's ridiculous. Someone said the system also messes up when it doesn't recognize a new receipt and rejects it because it thinks the receipt is old. This is 100% correct. Also, even when all the required info is on the receipt (like date, business name, total) it STILL doesn't recognize it and flat out rejects my receipt. Or even when it asks me to manually enter it, it still doesn't recognize half the time. I hope, if you guys end up discontinuing this app, you will make sure that users are compensated for all of the receipts that we did scan that take 100 times longer than most other apps to snap and load. It is quick to short you one way or the other ! ### 1/5 — Waste of time and EFFORT *2026-08-22, version 11.2* I will never recommend this app, I feel it’s 100% a scam not only did they not honor their reward system, as soon as I uploaded a game and was winning a large amount of points so I tried to cash in, of course I get the same note. Everybody does. It seems cause I read the reviews that you contact customer support, and I get a statement back saying that I didn’t honor the rules which every receipt I put in is from me, my fiancé and my son, and not only that it was funny they took every receipt without any note or complaint so the massive amount of points that I was getting was from the game that they obviously were representing, which was a bingo game, which I love, but after all the effort and everything I got so mad I even deleted the game besides deleting this app. Which they tried saying there was fraud or fake receipts. Even my fiancé said that that’s weird cause we never use Cash. We always use our card which has our names right on the receipt. So pretty much they just said we were guilty and no case. Lol if you read reviews, I would take my warning unless in the end do you want to get upset? Only 2 green pages to scan receipts, the ads for extra credit are long aggressive and obnoxious. They’re forcing you to watch stupid gambling games as if they wanted all of us became addicted to online gambling.the surveys insists on tracking and giving out personal data, if you say no, you don’t qualify . Every Sunday I spend less than 5 minutes taking pics of the last week’s receipts and uploading those Online. I don’t play games, I just use the receipts for my points. I have used ReceiptPal for 4 years. I have redeemed $400 in Amazon gift cards and I am on my way to my 5th!! $400 is not bad, considering I spend less than 5 minutes a week using the App, 52 weeks a year. That means I spent a little over 4 hours each year, for 4 years, which works out to be $25 an hour!!
