## What is Receipt Refund?

Costco refunds the difference when something you bought goes on promotion within 30 days of purchase. Most people never check. Receipt Refund checks for you.

Add a receipt from the Costco app (share the PDF), a photo, or a scan of the paper receipt. Every item is matched against Costco's Member-Only Savings book by item number, never by name, and the result tells you exactly what to claim at the membership counter, tax included.

PAST RECEIPTS TOO
Add receipts from July 2026 onward and see what you could have claimed. The app keeps every savings book it has seen, so an old receipt is checked against the book that was running during its 30-day window.

VERIFIED, NOT GUESSED
Line items must add up to the printed subtotal, and the sales tax rate is taken from the receipt itself. If a scan doesn't reconcile, the app says so instead of guessing.

FREE
Add up to 4 receipts a year. See earned, pending, and missed refunds on a receipt-style tape.

UNLIMITED
Unlimited receipts, automatic re-checks the day a new savings book posts, an alert when something you bought goes on sale, and reminders before each 30-day deadline. One refund pays for months.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Receipts are read on your phone and never uploaded. Only item numbers, prices, and the date are kept. Your membership number and card details are never stored. The savings book is fetched directly from costco.com by your phone; there is no server.
