## What is Receipt Rescue?

Receipt Rescue is a calm, paper-quiet way to capture, organize, and hand off receipts on iPhone and iPad. Designed for the moment you receive a paper receipt — one-handed, in under three seconds — and the moment you need it back.

CAPTURE IN SECONDS
Tap the shutter. The camera finds the corners and saves both the original photo and a clean rendering. AI reads the merchant, total, tax, date, and category — Apple's Vision first, then on-device Apple Intelligence on iOS 26+, then Google Gemini if you allow cloud parsing, with a regex parser as a final fallback. Multilingual: English, Turkish, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, Chinese.

LONG RECEIPTS, BATCHES, FILES
Long-mode capture stitches a five-foot grocery roll into one image. Batch mode handles a stack at the counter. Import from Photos or Files — PDFs, JPEGs, HEIC.

BUNDLE A MONTH, HAND IT OFF
"April → Sarah." Pick a date range, generate a single PDF with every receipt, its photo, totals by currency, and category breakdown. Email it to your bookkeeper, drop it in Files, or share anywhere.

SEARCH, NEVER PANIC
Full OCR search. Filter by merchant, category, currency, or date. Mark for review if a number looks off — correct it in place without retaking the photo. Duplicate detection tells you gently, never silently destroys.
