The app now automatically checks syncing and helps recover missing documents after reinstalling the app or installing it on a new device. If syncing was previously enabled, it stays enabled and continues working without extra steps from the user. We also added clear recovery progress, improved folder restoration on the Home screen based on the “Show on Home” setting, and made small improvements to the interface and stability. ### 26.8.18 — 2026-07-07 This update makes SignumScan a better private document organizer - with document covers, improved PDF text handling, smarter autofill, and safer iCloud sync. • Document covers You can now add a custom cover to a document: choose a photo, take a new picture, use the first page, crop it, replace it, or remove it anytime. • Covers across the app Covers now appear when saving a document, in document lists and previews, on the document details screen, and while editing pages. • Better PDF preview PDF viewing is improved, including support for working with recognized text directly in the preview. • Smoother document naming Long document names are easier to edit, the clear button is cleaner, and cover controls are now closer to the title field. • Smarter autofill Autofill now better detects dates, amounts, currencies, and document types for receipts, invoices, and warranties across more languages. • Safer iCloud Sync If your iCloud account changes, SignumScan keeps local documents safe, pauses sync, and explains what happened.
