## What is ReceiptCal?

ReceiptCal logs food automatically from supported restaurant and delivery receipts.

Use your private @receiptcal.com address at checkout, or forward food receipts. Calories and macros appear in your log after processing. No searching for each item. No meal-by-meal typing.

YOUR DAY, ADDED UP

See meals, calories, protein, carbs, and fat in one place. Adjust a portion or ignore an item when needed. Sources stay in the meal details.

MORE WAYS TO LOG

Photograph food or scan a packaged-food barcode. Ask voice for recipe ideas and log a serving when you eat it. Ask voice to add what a recipe needs to your Sprouts cart; it skips what's in your pantry, and you check out with Sprouts.

OPTIONAL HEALTH SYNC

With your permission, logged nutrition syncs to the Health app when ReceiptCal syncs. ReceiptCal does not read your Health data.

YOUR INBOX STAYS YOURS

No personal-mailbox access. ReceiptCal only receives email sent to your private receipt address. You can delete your account and stored meals in the app.

Nutrition values are estimates for everyday tracking, not medical advice. Portions and preparation vary. Some items may not resolve.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 5.0 — 2026-10-05

Ask ReceiptCal to add what a recipe needs to your Sprouts cart. It finds your nearest Sprouts, tells you the store and items first, skips what's already in your pantry, and opens the cart for you to check out.

Also: reporting a problem by voice no longer asks you to confirm twice.

### 4.3 — 2026-09-29

Your pantry now keeps up with what you eat. When you log a recipe, ReceiptCal takes its ingredients out of your pantry.

Your memory file now includes your food preferences and pantry. Edit it, import it, and ReceiptCal updates to match.

### 4.2 — 2026-09-25

A receipt scan no longer fails because one line could not be read. Every item ReceiptCal can identify is logged, and anything it cannot is kept visible instead of dropped.

Scanning a barcode always records the item, even when no trusted source publishes its nutrition.

Every meal now shows a food quality reading, and less processed food scores better. Readings based on estimates are labelled as estimates.

Setting up receipt forwarding now shows Google's confirmation in the app.

Nutrition values are estimates for everyday tracking, not medical advice.

### 4.1 — 2026-09-21

Voice keeps listening when you switch to another app, until you stop the session. What you say is saved more reliably, and voice can now see your pantry and earlier conversation.

Signing up shows consent clearly before your account is created, and onboarding picks up where you left off.

Steadier continuous scanning and barcode logging, plus smoother personalization screens.

Nutrition values are estimates for everyday tracking, not medical advice.

### 4.0 — 2026-09-09

Less typing. Simpler food logging. Improved food-photo scanning and barcode handling. Saved recipes let you choose a serving quantity and copy ingredients. Cleaner screens keep your daily nutrition in focus.
