## What is ReceiptClaim?

ReceiptClaim is a private bill splitter that divides restaurant and grocery receipts by what each person actually had—not just by an equal share of the total. No account, no sign-up.

ReceiptClaim helps the payer turn an itemized receipt into a clear, shareable settlement:

• Take a receipt photo or choose one from Photos
• Accurate cloud text recognition for itemized receipts — only with your explicit consent, 12 free scans every month
• For consented cloud scans, the receipt photo and recognition response are stored with an anonymous device ID and scan reference so we can investigate misreads and support requests
• On-device text recognition for Latin, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean receipts — always available, even offline
• Paste receipt text or enter items manually at any time
• Correct every item, quantity, and line total before calculating
• Let one or several people claim each item
• Use relative counts when people shared different quantities
• Allocate tax, tip, discounts, and rounding proportionally
• Reconcile every category to the smallest currency unit
• Copy or share a payer-aware summary

Private by default

Drafts, settlements, and history stay on your device. ReceiptClaim has no account, no analytics, no advertising SDK, and no bank connection. A receipt photo is sent to our server for recognition only after you explicitly agree; decline and everything keeps working with on-device recognition.

Supported currencies: USD, CNY, TWD, HKD, EUR, GBP, JPY, KRW, PHP, IDR, MYR, and SGD. ReceiptClaim does not convert currencies. Photo text may occasionally need correction; pasted and manual entry are always available.

ReceiptClaim Plus (optional)

A yearly auto-renewable subscription adds 100 cloud scans every month and unlimited history. Prefer not to subscribe? One-time scan packs never expire. Splitting, claiming, and sharing stay free forever.

Choose Automatic, Mainland China, or Global cloud scanning for a more reliable connection. Cloud scans now show a reference you can use for support or deletion requests. A new read-only diagnostics panel helps troubleshoot network issues without exposing receipt contents. You can also assign every unclaimed item to one person in a single tap.

### 1.3.0 — 2026-08-11

Fixes a problem where a purchased scan pack could be charged but never applied if your network could not reach our server. Purchases are now saved and retried automatically, and the app tells you when one is still pending instead of staying silent. Cloud scanning also tries more than one server address, so a blocked hostname no longer means no cloud at all. Clearer messages when you are offline or a photo is too large, plus a new Support info panel under the ⋮ menu.

New: ReceiptClaim Plus — a yearly subscription with 100 cloud scans per month and unlimited receipt history. Prefer to pay once? Scan packs (20/100/500) never expire. Share your settlement and earn bonus scans. The free tier is unchanged: 12 cloud scans a month, and on-device recognition stays free and unlimited, forever.
