A budget app you use by taking a photo of your receipt. No bank accounts. No credit cards. Your records stay on this device. There are no ads, and nothing about you is tracked. ■ No receipt? Still no problem Budgeting apps fail for one reason: you forget the receipt, you lose it, or you never type it in. There are four ways in. - Snap it — AI reads the store, items, amounts and date, then files them into categories such as groceries, dining out or household goods - Say it — "about $10 for lunch out, $6.80 for a convenience store dinner" becomes two receipts - Write it — jot down what you remember in plain sentences - Type it — pick the store, amount and category yourself Not sure of the amount? "About $10" is fine. It is marked as an estimate, still counted, and you can correct it later. Don't remember the store? Leave it as "unknown store." ■ Only the days you show up count Log once a day and that day is done, however many receipts you added or however much you spent. Your level rises with the number of days you recorded, never with the amount you spent. Missed days can be filled in later, and points never go down, so a day off never sends you back to the start. Didn't buy anything? Tap "I didn't shop yesterday" and it counts as a zero-spend day. ■ Your currency Dollars, euros, pounds, yen, won and more. The currency is stored with each receipt, so changing the setting later never rewrites what you already recorded. Totals are never added across different currencies. Each is counted on its own. Switch for the length of a trip, then switch back. ■ Totals and charts you can read Totals by day, week, month and year, with a pie chart by category. Tap a category for the detail. The calendar shows which days you spent on, and how much, by colour. ■ For expenses and receipts you keep Flag something as a business expense and export it separately. Export to CSV and open it in any spreadsheet. *No bookkeeping entries, no tax calculations. It collects, sorts and exports. ■ Keep the original too Scanned receipt photos stay on your device and can be viewed from your history anytime. They are never sent to iCloud, and can be tidied up automatically after 3 months or a year. ■ A quiet nudge before bed If you haven't logged anything, a reminder near the end of the day says so. It can be switched off. Tap it and you are in the logging screen. ■ Three languages Japanese, English and Chinese. Japanese receipts can show English or Chinese item names — useful if you live in Japan, or while travelling. ■ No ads, no tracking No advertising anywhere. While subscribed, registering your own free Gemini API key removes that limit. Each currency is counted on its own. - A yearly plan is now available. - The home screen is tidier — a greeting and how your streak is going, on one card. - "I didn't shop yesterday" now appears only when yesterday is actually blank. - The big scanner glyph on the home screen is gone. The button right below it already said the same thing. ### 5.0 — 2026-08-05 You can now log expenses even without a receipt in hand. Talk it out — Say something like "About $10 for lunch, $7 for a convenience store dinner" and it's split into two entries automatically. Jot it down — Type what you remember, in your own words, and it turns into an entry just the same. Not sure of the amount? — Mark it "approx." and log it anyway. It still counts toward your totals. Forgot where you bought it? — No problem, log it as "unknown store." We've also added a few things to help the habit stick. Points and levels are based on how many days you log — not how much you spend. Log early for more points. Miss a day, and you can still back-fill it later. Points never go down, so one skipped day won't set you back to zero. Didn't buy anything today? Tap "No purchases today" and it still counts. Also in this update: Receipt photos are now saved on your device — view thumbnails in your history or pull up the original anytime. Fixed a readability issue with headers in Summary and History. The app feels snappier across the board. ### 4.5 — 2026-07-31 - No API key needed while subscribed. Just open the app and scan (up to 12 per day; unlimited with your own API key). - Added new categories: Clothing, Beauty, and Education. - New "Edit categories" in Settings — hide the ones you don't use (hidden items go to "Other"). - Export and restore your history as a backup. - Faster and more reliable scanning. - The free trial for new subscribers is now 3 days.
