## What is ReceiTracker?

A simple expense tracker that starts with a photo of your receipt.

ReceiTracker combines AI receipt scanning, voice, text, and manual entry. No account, bank connection, ads, or cross-app tracking. Your history and receipt photos remain on your device.

■ Four Ways to Record Expenses

• Take a Photo
AI extracts the merchant, items, amounts, and date from a receipt, then classifies the expense into categories such as groceries, dining, and household supplies.

• Speak
Describe several purchases in one sentence and create a separate record for each one.

• Write
Enter what you remember in everyday language and turn it into a structured receipt record.

• Enter Manually
Choose the merchant, amount, category, and other details yourself.

Unsure of the amount? Mark it as approximate and correct it later. If you do not remember the merchant, save it as “Unknown Merchant.”

■ Build a Recording Habit

ReceiTracker rewards consistency, not spending. Record at least once and the day counts toward your progress, regardless of how many expenses you enter or how much you spend.

Add missed entries later without losing progress. On a day when you bought nothing, record “No spending” to count it as a zero-expense day.

■ Multiple Currencies

Track yen, US dollars, euros, pounds, won, and other major currencies. Each receipt keeps its original currency, and totals are shown separately. Switch currencies while traveling without changing past records.

■ Charts, Calendar, and CSV Export

Review spending by day, week, month, or year. Category charts show where your money went, while the calendar shows spending by date. Tap a category or date for details or to add a missed entry.

Mark business or other eligible expenses and export selected records as a CSV file for expense reports, receipt organization, or tax preparation.

ReceiTracker does not create bookkeeping entries or calculate tax classifications. It helps you collect, classify, and export records.

■ Receipt Photos Stay on Your Device

Receipt photos are stored on your device and are not uploaded to iCloud. View them from your history or choose to clear them automatically after three months or one year.

■ Reminders and Languages

An optional evening notification reminds you when nothing has been recorded that day.

The app supports Japanese, English, and Chinese. It can scan Japanese receipts and display item names in English or Chinese.

■ Privacy and Scanning Options

There is no account registration, bank or card connection, advertising, or tracking across other companies’ apps and websites.

With ReceiTracker Pro, the selected receipt image is sent to Google Gemini through our server on Google Cloud Run in the Tokyo region. Neither the image nor its contents are stored on our server.

The standard AI allowance is 12 receipts per day and 150 per month. Remaining scans are shown in Settings.

You may add your own Gemini API key to scan without using the standard allowance. On-device OCR with Apple Vision is also available offline, although it extracts less information.

■ ReceiTracker Pro

ReceiTracker Pro extracts the merchant, items, amounts, date, and category without requiring your own API key.

Monthly and annual auto-renewing plans are available. Current localized prices, trial availability, introductory offers, and eligibility are shown before purchase.

Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation. The subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel it in your App Store account settings.

Introductory-offer eligibility is determined by Apple for the subscription group.

You can now quickly add receipts from a blank calendar day or the “Yesterday” card. The selected date carries through photo, voice, text, and manual entry, so missed days are filed correctly.

### 6.5 — 2026-09-04

ReceiTracker 6.5 makes expense tracking easier at home and while traveling:

• Record in major currencies while keeping past amounts unchanged and totals separated by currency
• Tap an empty calendar day to add a forgotten expense
• Keep no-shopping days on your calendar as zero-spend days
• Save with the new yearly plan, designed for continued use

This update also includes bug fixes and stability improvements.

### 6.3 — 2026-08-19

- Totals are never added across different currencies. Each currency is counted on its own.
- A yearly plan is now available.
- Tap an empty day in the calendar to fill it in. "I didn't shop this day" can now be set for any past day.
- Days with no shopping now show as zero in the calendar, so they are easy to tell apart from days you forgot.
- The home screen is tidier — a greeting and how your streak is going, on one card.

### 6.0 — 2026-08-15

- Your currency. Dollars, euros, pounds, yen and more. The currency is saved with each receipt, so changing the setting later never rewrites what you already recorded.
- Totals are never added across different currencies. Each currency is counted on its own.
- A yearly plan is now available.
- The home screen is tidier — a greeting and how your streak is going, on one card.
- "I didn't shop yesterday" now appears only when yesterday is actually blank.
- The big scanner glyph on the home screen is gone. The button right below it already said the same thing.

### 5.0 — 2026-08-05

You can now log expenses even without a receipt in hand.

Talk it out — Say something like "About $10 for lunch, $7 for a convenience store dinner" and it's split into two entries automatically.
Jot it down — Type what you remember, in your own words, and it turns into an entry just the same.
Not sure of the amount? — Mark it "approx." and log it anyway. It still counts toward your totals.
Forgot where you bought it? — No problem, log it as "unknown store."

We've also added a few things to help the habit stick.

Points and levels are based on how many days you log — not how much you spend.
Log early for more points. Miss a day, and you can still back-fill it later.
Points never go down, so one skipped day won't set you back to zero.
Didn't buy anything today? Tap "No purchases today" and it still counts.

Also in this update:

Receipt photos are now saved on your device — view thumbnails in your history or pull up the original anytime.
Fixed a readability issue with headers in Summary and History.
The app feels snappier across the board.
