## What is RecExport?

RecExport is a recorder that also handles the busywork after you record — the uploading and the filing.

Record meetings, interviews, lectures, and quick ideas in one tap. When you stop, it uploads to Google Drive, OneDrive, or Dropbox automatically — so you skip exporting and moving files by hand.

Good for people who want to:
- Get a recording into the cloud right away
- Find meeting and interview audio again later
- Keep recording without filling up the phone
- Stop moving files by hand after every recording

A few things that help:
- Start recording with Siri or Shortcuts
- A reminder before a calendar event, with recordings named after it automatically
- Protect recordings you want to keep on the phone
- Let RecExport clean up local copies after backup
- Clearer speech with Voice Isolation

It can also back up to your own server (WebDAV or S3-compatible) and notify tools like Slack or Telegram when a recording is saved — if you want that.

Private by design: record without an account. You only sign in to your own cloud.

- New: Calendar integration. Get a gentle reminder before an event starts and begin recording with one tap. Recordings are automatically named after the event in progress — processed entirely on your device, and fully opt-in.
- Fine-tune which events notify you with keywords (Zoom / Google Meet and more included by default) or per-calendar settings, and choose when to be reminded: 5 minutes, 1 minute, or right at the start.
- Edit a recording's title while recording, and discard a take on the spot when you don't need it.
- Fixed: the "Wi-Fi only upload" setting could reset after relaunching the app.
- Fixed: uploads to Dropbox could fail for file names containing Japanese and other non-ASCII characters.

- Cloud services that need you to sign in again are now detected the moment you open the app, with a clear heads-up before you record.
- A warning badge now appears on the recording and library screens whenever a cloud service needs attention, so you don't have to dig into Settings to find out.
- Cloud Settings shows a summary banner when one or more services require re-sign in, so nothing slips by unnoticed.
- Reliability fixes for cloud sign-in and uploads, including smoother recovery when a sign-in expires mid-upload.
- Fixed long recordings getting stuck mid-upload after stopping from the Lock Screen — uploads now recover automatically when you reopen the app.
- Recordings are now saved in a more compact format by default, so longer sessions upload faster and use less storage. A High Quality (uncompressed) option is available in Settings.
