## What is Recipe Keeper?

Save recipes from sites, photos, PDFs, and other apps. CookCove organizes them with ingredients, steps, servings, and timers.

IMPORT RECIPES YOUR WAY

Bring recipes into one library. Paste a public recipe website, choose a photo, scan a printed or handwritten card, select a text-based PDF, or start from a blank recipe. You can also use another app's Share menu, then review the imported draft in CookCove.

CookCove reads supported website recipe data and uses on-device text recognition for selected photos and camera captures. PDF import reads text available in the selected document. Blocked, signed-in, image-only, malformed, or unsupported sources may need manual editing. Shared recipes process in your library; other imports remain editable before saving.

EDIT AND ORGANIZE

Review and change recipe details, servings, times, tags, ingredients, sections, instructions, and step timers. Reorder rows or keep unfinished work as a draft.

Search saved recipes by title, notes, source, tags, or ingredients. Sort the library, mark favourites, duplicate or share a recipe, create cookbook collections, and delete recipes you no longer need.

COOK WITHOUT THE CLUTTER

Open focused cooking mode and follow one clear step at a time. Move backward or forward without losing your place, check the ingredient list without leaving cooking mode, and scale quantities for a different serving count.

Use the cooking timer for a suggested step time or set your own duration. Add time, pause, reset, and return to an active timer. CookCove stores the current step and timer state so an interrupted session can continue later. The optional keep-awake setting keeps the current step visible while you cook.

YOUR RECIPES, YOUR DEVICE

Recipes stay local and can sync through your private iCloud database. Text extraction happens on device. For trial, paid, or enrolled Debug access, CookCove sends unstructured recipe text and an optional sanitized image to its protected AI service. The service retains inputs, results, and diagnostics until Delete All Data. Structured website recipes use local parsing.

No account is required, and the app has no social feed. Camera and photo access are requested only when you choose those import methods. Export your saved recipe data as a local JSON backup with the system share sheet, or delete all recipes, cookbooks, and drafts from Settings after confirming the action.

FREE AND PREMIUM ACCESS

Without a purchase, you can save up to three user recipes in total. Reading, editing, cooking, sharing, and deleting existing recipes remain available, and deleting a recipe releases a free slot. The fourth attempted new save opens the purchase screen while keeping the complete draft.

Premium removes the save limit. Choose an auto-renewable yearly subscription or a separate non-consumable lifetime purchase. Eligible customers can receive a 7-day introductory trial with the yearly plan. The purchase screen shows the current localized StoreKit price and the applicable renewal or one-time-purchase terms before confirmation.

PREMIUM ACCESS:
- CookCove includes up to three saved user recipes without purchase. Reading, editing, cooking, sharing, and deleting existing recipes remain available; deleting a recipe releases a free slot.
- CookCove Plus Yearly is an auto-renewable one-year subscription that unlocks unlimited recipe saves and imports. Eligible customers receive a 7-day introductory trial. It renews annually until canceled.
- CookCove Lifetime is a separate non-consumable, one-time purchase that unlocks unlimited recipe saves and imports. It is not a subscription and does not renew.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm a purchase. You can manage or cancel the yearly subscription in your Apple ID subscription settings. Restore Purchases can recover qualifying access bought with the same Apple ID.
