## What is ReciPin?

ReciPin is your own recipe notebook — just snap a photo and the recipe is saved.

■ Snap it, AI fills it in
A screenshot from social media, a page of your handwritten recipe notebook, a page from a cookbook — just pick the photo. AI reads the ingredients and steps, organizes them, and saves them cleanly. No more retyping. Import several photos at once.

■ Edit it your way, and make it yours
Everything stays editable after import. "Less sugar." "We like extra onion." Add what you learn each time you cook, and the recipe grows into your version of it. This isn't an app for reading other people's recipes — it's for making them your own.

■ Scale servings automatically
Turn a "2 servings" recipe into "4." Choose how many people you're cooking for and every amount recalculates in real time. No mental math.

■ Send ingredients to your shopping list
Check the ingredients you need and add them to the list. Add from several recipes and matching items are combined automatically. Tap to check things off, and reorder the list however you like.

■ Organize your own recipe box
- Sort by category (with emoji, add your own freely)
- Search by recipe name or by ingredient
- Mark favorites
- Jump back to recently viewed recipes
- Switch between a list view and a photo grid

■ Your screen stays on while you cook
The display won't sleep while a recipe is open. No tapping the screen again with messy hands.

■ Manual entry, too
No photo? Add a recipe by hand anytime.

■ Use it with peace of mind
- Start instantly, no sign-in required
- Sign in with Apple, Google, or email to carry your recipes across devices
- Delete your account completely, anytime

■ Want more? ReciPin Premium
Everything above is free to use. If you want to save more recipes, or use AI imports more often, we offer an auto-renewable subscription: ReciPin Premium.
- Unlimited recipe storage (free plan: up to 10 recipes)
- 50 AI imports per day (free plan: 20 per day, 20 in total)
- Monthly plan (1 month) and Yearly plan (1 year)
Prices are shown in the App Store and inside the app, and vary by region.
Cooking starts with "I want to make this." ReciPin keeps all your recipes in one simple place.

## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.3.0 — 2026-08-20

■ Introducing ReciPin Premium
An auto-renewable subscription that gives you unlimited recipe storage and up to 50 AI imports per day. Tap "Upgrade to Premium" on My Page to see what's included and the price. Monthly and yearly plans are available.

■ The free plan now stores up to 10 recipes
This changed from 15. Recipes you have already saved remain viewable even if you have more than 10. To add new ones, remove some recipes or subscribe to Premium.

■ Improved carrying recipes over when you sign in
If your recipes can't be carried over to the account you sign in to, the app now explains why and what you can do next. Recipes that aren't carried over are never lost.

### 1.2.0 — 2026-08-06

■ Clear your shopping list in one go
Added "Select all". When you're done shopping, check everything and tap "Clear purchased" to empty the list at once.

■ New Account screen
"Account" has been added to My Page. Your sign-in details, sign out, and account deletion now live there — so My Page is just your everyday settings, like categories and favorites.

■ Reordering now works the same way everywhere
Shopping list, categories, ingredients, and steps all use press and hold, then drag. An orange line now shows exactly where the item will land.

■ We'll tell you when a recipe couldn't be saved
Fixed an issue where, on a poor connection, tapping Save appeared to do nothing. You'll now see a spinner while saving and a message if it fails — and everything you typed stays right where it is.

■ Bug fixes
- The shopping list couldn't be scrolled once it had a lot of items
- Every ingredient was added to the shopping list even when none were selected
- The login screen stayed open after you opened the confirmation link from your sign-up email
- The screen was stuck loading when a confirmation link had expired
- Photos were left on the server after deleting a recipe or replacing an image

### 1.1.0 — 2026-07-31

■ Shopping list added
Check off the ingredients you need and send them straight to your shopping list. Add from several recipes and matching items are combined automatically. Tap to check items off, swipe left to delete, and long-press to reorder. You can also add items to the list directly.

■ Photo grid view for your recipe list
Switch between a list view and a photo grid. Your choice is remembered next time you open the app.

■ Search has moved into the recipe list
The search tab is gone — search now lives at the top of your recipe list, so you can combine keyword search, category filters, and favorites without leaving the screen. Search by recipe name or by ingredient.

■ Other improvements
- Crop thumbnail photos to a square when you add them
- Switching categories in the recipe list is much faster
- Fixed the keyboard covering input fields on the recipe import screen
- Fixed the screen staying awake after you closed a recipe
