## What is Recon?

Reliable. Responsive. REST-based. Recon is the Next-Generation Remote Control tool for MC—an RCON alternative designed for both players and admins. 
Recon ensures your commands are executed and responses are received—every single time.

NOTE: This application is a smartphone client for Recon. To use it, you must first install the Recon plugin on your server.

- Ironclad Security: Recon encrypts all traffic using AES encryption combined with timestamp validation and nonce verification. Your passwords and commands are never sent in plaintext.
- RESTful Reliability: Built on a robust HTTP architecture. If the server running the plugin is up, Recon connects.
- Granular Permission Control: Stop giving out full OP access. With Recon, you can assign specific permissions (nodes) or allow users to execute commands as specific players.
