Currently the sorting is based on the value on the number line rather than the absolute value of the transaction, so the negative and positive transactions sort of get sorted in opposite directions. I'll update the sorting so that they're sorted in order by their absolute value so that you'd see $1.00, ($1.50), $2.00 rather than ($1.50), $1.00, $2.00 (and vice versa for the opposite direction).
