It doesn’t work then I tried to use it by calling somebody and it dropped my call. There’s no one to call to get help to learn how to use your app so I don’t even know if I’m using it right and I just paid you $10and I’m gonna request it back because it’s not working properly. It’s a scam. ### 1/5 — Really wanted this to work for me *2020-12-17* But it didn’t, and now I have an hour recording of phone ringing sound, not the interview I needed. Nothing to indicate on the app that it wasn’t working/recording, all looked as per the video instruction. I’ve obviously done something wrong, but am not going to invest more time working it out. ### 1/5 — Didn’t work. Lost entire phone call. *2019-10-23, version 1.5.3* I did a test call with my SO to see if it worked. Then I did an actual call with a high profile interviewer... and it didn't record a single thing. Their privacy policy is extensive and more than adequately protects the confidential information of research participants. After reading through policies of more than 20 other apps, CallTap stood out as the only app that would easily meet my university's ethical standards for academic research using phone interview recordings. Also has transcriptions which other competitors don't have yet. I use this for recording phone calls with my lawyer since it isn't cheap.
