Très pratique

J adore cette application bien pratique pour classer mes 3000 vinyles et CD et autres dvd et blu ray musicaux

Great app

I found the app after thinking to myself, boy it would be slick to have an app that finds record data by taking a picture of it. I tired the free version and was impressed enough to buy a membership. I inherited a collection of over 400 albums, mostly jazz from the 50’s and was able to scan them into my phone over the course of about 8 hours. Some loaded quickly from the image, but some required me to key in the information (the more obscure recordings). I eventually found all the records, even the 78’s and added them to my collection. I also exported the collection into an Excel file. The Excel table will show all the tracks (basically all the Discogs data), so if I want to hear Muskrat Ramble I can search the excel file and find every record featuring that tune. The only complaint I have with the Excel data is that all the numbers are stored as text. The first thing I did was try to sort the records by value … you can’t do that with numbers stored as text – but I knew how to fix that. I now have another 200 or so rock records to add. I can’t argue with the price – for the time it saves its cheap. 5 stars.

Very easy to use and accurate

I’ve tried a number of vinyl collection tools and this is by far the best. The scanning accuracy is amazing.

Money Scam

Another Subscription Ripoff. Instead of paying a reasonable price for the App, these guys expect you to pay forever to use it. Great App idea. Too bad greed got in the way. Good bye!

Response from developer

Thank you AmberGlenn. We truly believe in the value our app offers. As a gesture of goodwill, if you donate to a charity of your choice (equal to our annual plan), we’d be happy to offer you unlimited access to Record Scanner. If this sounds good, please send the confirmation to contact@recordscanner.com. P.S. If something is free, you are the product.

Finally a solution I can use

I have a relatively large music collection and have struggled with properly cataloging it. But Record Scanner really works well - it’s fast and easy and even if you want to collect ALL details relevant to the hobby, the app makes it easier to do so. The data extract feature is very useful as well - I highly recommend this app if you want to catalog your music - it really works!
