## What is Recorder?

【Recorder】 helps you turn conversations, lectures and ideas into recordings and readable notes. Capture audio, transcribe speech and revisit the details when you need them.

Live Transcription and Video to Text

Follow your words on screen as you record, or transcribe saved recordings and imported audio. Import MP4 or MOV videos from Photos or Files to turn their audio into editable text. Choose from the transcription languages available on your device, then edit, copy or share the results.

Meeting Records with AI Assistance

Keep meeting audio, transcripts and notes together. Add text or images to the meeting timeline, ask questions about the transcript, and generate an AI summary or mind map to review the discussion. Replay saved meeting audio and export the text for follow-up.

Voice Notes for Everyday Ideas

Dictate a note or type it with the keyboard. Add a title, edit the text and save it to your notes collection. Open saved notes again to keep writing and organize your thoughts at your own pace.

Flexible Recording and Key Moments

Pause and resume recordings, add markers to important moments and find them again during playback. Choose a recording preset or customize the format, channel, quality and sample rate to suit your task.

Audio Editing and File Management

Convert audio to MP3, WAV, CAF or AIFF, reduce noise, trim clips, merge recordings and adjust volume. Manage recordings, videos and notes in the file library, rename or delete items, and share audio, video or text.

Some features require a subscription. Transcription language availability depends on your device and system. Speech input and AI features require an internet connection.
