However, there are a few accessibility issues that need to be worked out. I use voiceover, and I would like to see where within the future update where the play button pause button and button would be able to be showing up on the lock screen. That way we don’t have to go open the lock screen, open the app and find the pause button or the stop button. Instead, an error pops up: OSStatus error 2003329396 ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — If you want to lose your recording, use this app *2026-08-14* The App is good in general, but you will lose your recording after stopping, in case you wait too long with pressing the save button and the iPhone screen turns off!! After switching on the iPhone again the save message disappears immediately and your recording is lost. Recording must be saved automatically and later you can decide to delete or rename it!! ### 1/5 — Regularly Crashes with new iOS *2024-10-04* Since I updated to iOS 18 this crashes lots and looses the recording. Not reliable anymore and therefore avoiding it! ### 1/5 — マトモに動きません *2020-06-11* Watchで動く唯一の44.1kHzのPCMレコーダーなんだけど、基本的な動作が不安定で実用性がありません。 まず、いつの間にか録音が終わってます。信頼性ゼロ。 唯一の出口であるiPhoneに転送しようとしても、特定のファイルで落ちて転送できません。時間をかけて実施した収録内容が失われました。 他がどんなに良くてもレコーダーとしての信頼に大きく欠けるため使い物になりません。 その他、録音が終わったら「保存」を押さないと次にいけなくなりますが、押さなくても保存されてるし「キャンセル」を押しても保存されます。なぜこんな余計な操作をさせるのか意味不明。使いづらいです。 出来たファイルは一つずつ「iPhoneに転送」操作後、iPhoneをPCに接続して、iTunesから「保存」を押して保存するフォルダーを指定し、保存されたことを確認してからWatchを操作して、一つ一つ削除しなければなりません。 ワークフローが悪すぎます。 それと、48kHzの収録が欲しい。 以上が解決したらお金出します。 ### 1/5 — Stops working when screen dims on Watch *2019-01-30, version 4.10.10* The same happens when you’re trying to play back a file on your watch. The moment the screen darkens the play back stops. This is a joke. It would be so great if the developers tried out their app before putting it out Also, the complication simply does not work. It doesn’t show on my phone as an option. Next in elegant execution of features. For instance, the developer does not take it vantage of force touch on the watch. Instead you have to click on an item and then get sub menus. Also, awkward file exchange between phone and watch. Other apps have the files just show up on both devices regardless him creates them. While it is fairly straightforward to copy a file to the phone, finding it is a little awkward. But most awkward is the inconsistency of the interface. Between the watch and The iPhone. Sometimes that makes sense to two different screen sizes in this case it makes no sense that deleting a file should be done differently on the phone I’m on the watch. Lastly Extremely awkward file exchange with the watch. The files should just be there on both devices but if one wants to have more control force touch on the phone should just allow her to copy a file to the watch. Appears to be a scam. ### 1/5 — No so good. *2016-02-04* There are WAY to many advertisements to make this useful on a regular basis. I checked this out particularly for the Apple Watch support. For this reason I would not recommend this version. If you watch becomes covered while recording the recording stops (by hand, shirt sleeve, etc). If you jump out of there recording to check the time, it stops recording. If a text message appears while recording, the recording stops. The quality of recordings are high and the ability to download and retrieve the files are simple. This is the only app when it comes to audio recording, that I have seen a system microphone built into the app itself. There are probably others, but I haven’t found them yet. I find it amazing, that my recordings sound much better using the system default microphone then they ever have before when using my iPhone microphone. I thought that I would have needed to purchase a separate microphone in order to get this amazing quality, but this recording app is beautiful. Second, when I do my editing, I use Hokusai audio editor. Most of the time, even with fright recording studio, when I use the noise reduction feature that they have, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. With this app, however, once I add the noise reduction feature into a recording that I have done with RecorderHQ, it sounds much better. Probably because I’m using the system microphone. I would highly recommend this app for anyone who loves recording. Although, I have a question. In the description of the app, it says that you can merge multiple recordings into one. How are you able to do that? I thought that if I put multiple recordings into a folder, that it would merge the two recordings, but that’s not the case. neither is putting them into a playlist.
