## What is Rēcoup?

Your premium cards hand you hundreds of dollars in credits every year: travel, dining, streaming, hotels. Miss them and the annual fee is just a bill. Rēcoup makes sure you use what you already paid for.

WHAT IT DOES • One tap logs a credit the moment you use it. Rēcoup keeps the tally. • See, at a glance, how much you've recouped against each card's fee. • Reminders a week out, two days out, and day-of, one a day at most, so nothing expires unnoticed. • Handles the tricky parts: credits that reset on your card anniversary instead of January, and ones you spend down a little at a time.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN Rēcoup never asks for card numbers, logins, or a bank connection. Which cards you carry and what you've claimed live in a small database on your phone. No account, no sync, no analytics. The only thing it fetches is the public benefit catalog, anonymously.

BUILT IN Chase Sapphire Reserve and Preferred, Amex Platinum and Gold, Delta Reserve, and more. Credit values are kept current.

One flower is engraved for each card, drawn the way banknotes once foiled counterfeiters. Worth a look in the About screen.

Rēcoup is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any card issuer. Card names and benefit programs are the property of their respective owners.

## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.0.3 — 2026-09-21

Ready for iOS 27.

This update moves Rēcoup onto the current iOS 27 tools and fixes a memory issue that could make the app sluggish on iOS 27 after a while.

Nothing changes in how your cards, credits, or reminders work.

### 1.0.2 — 2026-08-29

Fixes two errors in how credits were counted for a card you opened part-way through the year.

If you joined mid-year, Rēcoup was showing earlier months as missed money you never had a chance to use, and at the same time counting subscription credits from before you had the card as money you recouped.

Both are corrected. Credits you actually logged are untouched.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-08-27

Bigger, clearer text throughout, and a broken link fixed.

Several of you said the app read small. It did. Every size went up, the smallest text is gone, and headings now look like headings.

The "Enroll at americanexpress.com" button was pointing at a page that no longer exists. It works again.

Nothing about your credits, reminders, or totals changed.

### 1.0 — 2026-08-20
