If a (reasonable) one-time payment is added to unlock the app for lifetime, I would be interested in purchasing this. Not appropriate for adults. Too child- like, with the cutesy smiley face, and falling cartoon animals, balloons etc. But decent content. I did notice one activity in the samples that doesn’t work for American English- it makes a statement like “The bear is on top of the giraffe” ~, and then asks you to drag the correct animal to the top floor of a house, and place the other animal on the first floor. We would not say “X lives on top of Y”… instead we would say “X lives ABOVE Y”. The exercises do not address the skills the purport to address, the graphics and sounds are clearly geared toward children and many patients may be offended, and the skill sets are much easier than you would suspect by their descriptors. But, its free so if you have a patient who is pretty low level and doesn't mind apps that appear kid centered, it may be of benefit so long as you do the exercises first to know what they are addressing. ### 2/5 — Preschool apps - not for adults *2019-07-15* This is shameless rebranding of existing preschool apps for adult stroke survivors and those with dementia. These childish cartoons are not respectful for use with seniors or adults. While the tasks may be useful and at the right level, the giggling cartoons are highly inappropriate.
