### 1/5 — iOS 26.4.1 broke audio

*2026-04-21, version 2.40.48*

The exercise counters audio stopped working with iOS 26.4.1 the video audio still works, but not the exercise countdown timers

### 5/5 — Very helpful with my Knee pain

*2026-03-12, version 2.40.48*

I say RecoveryOne is my saviour, after being at doctor multiple times, worried about bone cancer. Somehow I came across the RecoveryOne app, made my appointment and followed the sessions without skipping a day, and boom I felt better after two years suffering from knee pain. This is what I need, I wish I could’ve found it earlier, but nothing is too late. Easy to set up an appointment and the PT doctors are very compassionate and helpful in the video call session. They set my exercises routine and sessions, and they responded fast enough for all my questions. Overall this app is amazing and works great for people like me. Minor bugs with the app, but they don’t change my opinion on this app or their service

### 2/5 — Audio Never Works on IPhone 16 Pro

*2025-04-21, version 2.34.6*

The audio never works for me on this app on my iPhone 16 Pro, which means I have to see my phone while doing exercises. In addition, I don’t like the way it doesn’t let me remove exercises or change the order of them, before starting the session. Very disappointing app. The other app I have used to supplement PT is MedBridge GO and that makes this one seem really lacking. It’s too bad, because the idea of having an app for PT from home is a good one, but this app is sub-par.

### 4/5 — Back to the basics

*2025-01-21, version 2.34.6*

I’m nearing 60, and while I’ve been very active in the past, for the last few years I’ve allowed my arthritis to get the better of me and became pretty sedentary. When even walking more than a mile was leaving me feeling stiff & sore, I took advantage of the offer of this program from my insurance company and got back to the very basics of strength & mobility.

This program is working like a charm; just one star off because the audio cues just stopped working in the app and from time to time make a brief reappearance only to stop again. Have tried restarting the program, turning mute on & off, even restating my phone. Seems pointlessly sloppy of the developers to let that persist.

### 5/5 — No excuses

*2024-12-14, version 2.34.6*

Recovery One makes rehab doable in the comfort of your home with excellent results. Very comprehensive and comparable to in person therapy. I’m amazed.

### 5/5 — Great

*2024-11-06, version 2.34.6*

I do not have more stars to award. Great ppl.

### 5/5 — Outstanding App/Service

*2024-06-25, version 2.34.6*

I was hobbled by a pinched nerve in my back. I created a RecoveryOne account, and minutes later was talking with someone who was able to prescribe a course of action. Minutes after that, I was using the app for my first session. Within 2 weeks, I was good as new. The app is excellent as it guides you through customized exercises, includes great video demos, loads of info, and uses the camera to watch your performance and suggest ways you can improve your form. The materials they send you are perfect for the needs. The chat features and feedback you provide get very timely responses from people who seem genuinely vested in helping you return to better health.

### 5/5 — More helpful than I expected

*2024-05-20, version 2.34.3*

I have had rigorous PT in the past on a different injury as well as several types of treatments for my current condition. I didn’t go into it with high hopes, but it’s free through my insurance. It also seems really simple and easy. I am actually seeing progress, though, and I hope it continues.

### 2/5 — A great concept that’s programmatically challenged

*2024-04-29, version 2.34.1*

Let me start by saying that I love the freedom RO offers for PT. For something like this that requires multiple sessions a week to be useful, independence is a game changer. This review is strictly for the app itself and not the service overall, which I have found to be very helpful.

That said this app is light years from where it needs to be from a product standpoint to compete with other health and wellness apps on the market. The technology side of the app is OK… for 2005. Rife with bugs, preferences don’t seem to keep when checking boxes, audio cues are inconsistent, and the demonstration videos for more vague exercises (example: scapular depression/contractions) are very hard to understand.

### 5/5 — Innovative and perfect for me!

*2024-03-19, version 2.34.0*

I am 51 years old and don’t like having to drive across town three days a week to do PT. I have been doing Yoga/Pilates/Functional Strength Training and after a recent injury suddenly had a huge setback. I knew I could recover from the injury but wasn’t certain I wouldn’t extend or worsen the injury. Enter Recovery One. Virtual visit with a DPT followed by a plan based on what was important to me. Ways to give feedback on each set of instructions, and interactive chats. So many times in the past I would go to the orthopedist to get access to PT and I knew my injury was nonsurgical but had to have the ortho visit to ensure it. I wasn’t certain with this injury but an ortho visit reassured me of the diagnosis…meniscus tear and baker’s cyst and confirmed bone on bone arthritis in the knees. Recovery One allowed for me to do my PT in the comfort of my home, using elements in my home combined with a pack they offered up and sent out. I actually use the app on my phone and airplay it on my TV so I can see the videos clearly. Exactly what I need for my aging body to safely remain active!
