## What is RecoverySync?

RecoverySync turns the data your Apple Watch already collects while you sleep into one simple recovery score — every morning, on your wrist.

WHY RECOVERYSYNC
• One-time purchase. No subscription, ever.
• 100% on-device. Your health data never leaves your iPhone.
• No account, no email, no tracking.
• Built with only Apple's native frameworks — zero third-party SDKs.

HOW IT WORKS
Each morning, RecoverySync reads three signals from Apple Health:
• Heart Rate Variability (SDNN) — 50% of your score
• Resting Heart Rate — 30% of your score
• Sleep Duration — 20% of your score

HRV and resting heart rate are compared against your personal 28-day baseline, and sleep against your own goal, to produce a clear daily score from 0 to 100:
• HIGH (76-100): Your body is ready to push.
• MODERATE (51-75): Train mindfully — listen to your body.
• LOW (0-50): Prioritize rest and recovery today.

You can adjust the weighting of each metric to match your training style.

RecoverySync also turns your score into action: a daily training-intensity recommendation and tonight's sleep target, based on your recent sleep debt.

WHERE YOU'LL SEE IT
• iPhone Home Screen widget (small, medium, lock screen)
• Apple Watch complication (circular, rectangular, corner)
• Apple Watch app
• Optional morning notification

REQUIREMENTS
• iPhone running iOS 17 or later
• Apple Watch Series 4 or later running watchOS 10 or later
• Apple Watch must be worn while sleeping

PRICING
The daily recovery score and 7-day trends are free. A single one-time purchase unlocks daily training and sleep targets, 28-day trends, and CSV export. No subscription, no recurring charges.

PRIVACY
RecoverySync does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. All recovery scores and preferences are stored on your device using SwiftData. Read-only access to Apple HealthKit, never written back.

DISCLAIMER
RecoverySync is for general wellness and informational purposes only. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making decisions about your health, training, or exercise.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.4.0 — 2026-08-12

RecoverySync 1.4 — back up your history, delete a single day, and an unlock screen you can actually close.
• New: save a backup and restore it. One file holds every day you have recorded, your notes and your settings, so a new iPhone carries on from here. Free — Health can only rebuild the last 28 days, and never your notes
• New: delete a single day, with an undo if you change your mind
• The locked 28-day trend now shows a preview of your own chart instead of a padlock on a blank screen
• Fixed: the "Delete All Data" confirmation could appear with no Cancel button
• Fixed: trying to dismiss the daily unlock screen often opened the privacy policy instead
• HRV is SDNN, not RMSSD. Apple Watch records HRV as SDNN — a different calculation from the RMSSD that Whoop and Oura report, which is why the numbers never matched. The app and the description now say so
• Fixed: at accessibility text sizes a value like "52 bpm" could break across lines mid-number
• The history import now runs again after a week away, instead of only once per install

### 1.3.0 — 2026-07-28

RecoverySync 1.3 — bring your past nights in, plus a more accurate baseline and fixes throughout.
•New: import past nights from Health, so days you slept with Apple Watch but did not open the app now count toward your trend and your baseline
• Your personal baseline is now a true rolling 28-day average; older nights drop out of it as they age
• Fixed: the Score Breakdown and Sleep Stages sections could disappear for the day
• Fixed: the widget, Watch app and complication could keep showing an earlier day's score
• The home screen now shows which day the score belongs to, and the metric tabs in Trends are clearer
• Numbers now follow each language's decimal separator, and Arabic and Hebrew layout is corrected
•Fixed: a night with sleep but no HRV — no Apple Watch, or entered by hand — could show an error instead of your data
•Trends: 7D and 28D now each show their own date range, and tapping the chart shows that day's value

### 1.2.0 — 2026-07-22

RecoverySync 1.2 — clarity and comfort update.
• Fixed: recovery data could fail to appear even when Apple Watch and Health were set up correctly
• Trends: new highest / lowest / week-over-week summary cards
• Morning notification now always shows your latest score
• Heart-rate trend now shows the real direction, with units
• Safer score-weight editing with an explicit save
• Better VoiceOver labels, contrast, and Dynamic Type support
• Translation fixes across all languages

### 1.1.0 — 2026-07-05

RecoverySync 1.1 — your score now turns into action.
• Today's Guidance: a training-intensity recommendation and tonight's sleep target
• Sleep stage breakdown (Deep / REM / Core)
• New score ring, your score right in the morning notification, and Smart Stack support

### 1.0.1 — 2026-06-16

Hello, world. RecoverySync 1.0 is here.
• Daily recovery score from HRV, resting heart rate, and sleep
• Home Screen widget and Apple Watch complication
• 28-day personal baseline calibration
• 100% on-device, no subscription
