## What is Recur?

Recur is a strength training app for people whose schedules, bodies, and motivation don't always line up. It builds workouts around what you have, adjusts when you're coming back from time off, and works around the areas giving you trouble.

HOW IT WORKS

Tell Recur your equipment and any pain areas. It puts together a push, pull, legs rotation and picks exercises accordingly.

Log your sets as you go. Come back after two weeks off and volume drops automatically — so your first week back doesn't wreck you.

FEATURES

Push/pull/legs rotation
Pain-aware exercise selection — flag a body area, it works around it
Comeback protocol — volume reduces after time off
Dumbbell-based, bench optional
Rest timer
Workout history
Swap any exercise mid-workout

RECUR PRO

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.5.0 — 2026-07-28

- Rate Recur in Settings now opens the App Store review page directly.
- Fixed a glitch where the exercise info screen would bounce back to the top after scrolling.
- Added an option to display weights in kilograms instead of pounds. New users outside the US get kg automatically; existing users can switch in Settings → Units.
- Stop rest-timer sound from crashing when backgrounded.
- Workouts now save more reliably on spotty connections.
- You can now connect Apple Health (or Health Connect on Android) during onboarding to automatically sync your completed workouts.
- The swap and add-exercise pickers now show a photo of each exercise, making it easier to tell movements apart at a glance.

### 1.4.0 — 2026-05-27

- Past workouts list and exercise deep-dive no longer show entries for exercises you didn't actually log sets for.
- Finisher exercises now show your last session's reps the same way main exercises do.
- Improved strength-level progression. The app now grows your level when you're crushing your main lifts, and keeps moving forward even when you're skipping the effort rating step.

### 1.3.0 — 2026-05-21

- Last session's weight and per-set reps shown inline on every exercise
- "Add exercise" mid-workout to extend your session with a suggested lift
- Smarter swaps show the new exercise's history, not stale data
- Resumed workouts keep their full set count
- Cleaner progress charts
- Rate Recur option in Settings

### 1.2.1 — 2026-05-18

- Workouts you finish after ending early no longer show up twice in Apple Health.
- Smarter workout difficulty adjustments — partial workouts now help tune your strength level.

### 1.2.0 — 2026-05-13

- Get a heads-up when your rest is over, even with your phone locked or in another app
- Polished chart fonts on the workout deep-dive
- Improved account security. You'll need to log in once after this update.
- Clearer error messages when something goes wrong.
