### 3/5 — App is not user friendly

*2026-07-27, version 1.1.62*

I cannot add my dependent information

### 3/5 — EAP no cost option

*2026-07-17, version 1.1.60*

For therapy. There’s not many providers available . West shock to see a $200 option per visit.
A great option for EAP zero cost urgent care. Needs or emergency. Prescriptions for common colds and problems.

Very comparable, if not, better than Teladoc and other AI. And/or telehealth providers

### 5/5 — User Experience

*2026-04-03, version 1.1.57*

Simple and effective!

### 5/5 — Fast and easy!

*2026-03-13, version 1.1.53*

Using the Recuro Care app has saved me time and money. It is easy to get an appointment quickly, the doctors are thorough and get the needed treatment in place.

### 5/5 — Services

*2026-03-04, version 1.1.53*

Fast and informative

### 2/5 — Call never returned

*2026-03-03*

I had an appointment the doctor was very thorough with his questioning and I genuinely could tell that he cared. The appointment resulted in him recommending I take a flu test. He said once I had done that I could call back and they would know which direction to go for treatment.

I bought the test took the test immediately after the phone call. However, I ran into issues scheduling an appointment since my last one was so recent. Recuro would not allow me to schedule an appointment online and said I needed to call. So I did just that. I spoke to a women who sent me an email and told me to email the picture of my negative flu test. After, she informed me that the doctor would return my call shortly.

Disappointingly, that never happened. So basically the visit amounted to me knowing I don’t have the flu(which was not my concern in the first place).

I genuinely just wanted convenient care and to get started on whatever treatment can fix the way I’m feeling.

### 5/5 — Wonderful

*2026-02-25, version 1.1.53*

My experience with Recuro Care was overall very positive. Scheduling was easy and the visit was convenient. The provider was professional and helpful. I would definitely use the service again.

### 5/5 — Dr. Odekunle

*2026-02-24, version 1.1.53*

Dr. Odekunle was amazing. He was helpful and understanding when I was explaining my symptoms. I highly recommend him!

### 1/5 — Very Rude Doctor!!

*2026-02-21, version 1.1.53*

Doctor was very rude and snarky. Cut me off before I was done explaining something about a picture I sent in. Will NOT use this service again. Don’t waste your time. Would much rather pay for Teledoc or another service than use this one again.

### 5/5 — Great service

*2026-02-03, version 1.1.52*

Service is always great! Thank you!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Unhappy with doctors

*2026-08-18, version 1.1.64*

Doctors do not help whatsoever. They do not even offer ibuprofen. They still want me to take her to urgent care or pediatrician for a throat swab to be able to get medication. Why I am paying for this service. This is a waste of money. I should save this money and just go to my daughters pediatrician and pay the high deductable with the yearly savings.

### 1/5 — Money grab

*2026-08-16, version 1.1.64*

They take your money then tell you to go to Urgent Care.

### 1/5 — Not a great service

*2026-08-12*

Had to schedule an appointment to see a psychiatrist for a refill ( new to
The state ) the appointment was scheduled to be over video , I gad the app ready and opened for thirty minutes . Even took screenshots and screen recordings because I could not believe that a doctor missed their appointment . After thirty minutes I called recuro directly , at the same time I got a call from recuro which I am assuming was the doctor . By the time I got to he call , the doctor hung up , there was no way to contact the doctor directly as it’s the same
Number through recuro . Now I am without medication for anxiety thanks to
Recuro .

### 1/5 — Do Not Reccomend

*2026-08-04, version 1.1.63*

I scheduled twice with two different providers and both cancelled last minute, hours before each appointment telling to me reschedule with another provider. I had to wait about two months to get the first appointment and then about 6 weeks to get the rescheduled appointment. I live in a rural area and providers accepting new patients and my insurance can be hard to find even driving two hours. I definitely got my hopes up thinking this would be a great solution. Just made my health journey that much harder.

### 1/5 — Unhappy!

*2026-07-02, version 1.1.59*

I am very disappointed with my experience. I felt like my concerns were not heard or taken seriously. I explained that I am currently out of town on vacation, feeling very ill, and seven hours away from home. I also shared what symptoms I was experiencing and which medication has worked best for me in the past. I rarely get sick, so this situation has been especially frustrating and stressful.

### 1/5 — Update available Msg

*2026-06-09, version 1.1.57*

The application displays a pop-up notification indicating that an update is available in the App Store; however, no update exists.

Healthcare providers are either not accepting new patients or are failing to attend scheduled appointments without prior notice.

Although I was initially eager to have this service included in the employer's Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and benefits package, the experience was brief and ultimately disappointing, compounded by concerns regarding cost management.

### 1/5 — Counseling visits

*2026-05-07, version 1.1.57*

Very few providers to choose from and very limited times available. Half of the therapists listed are not accepting new clients and the others don’t seem qualified. Not happy with the insurance provider or the mental health options.

### 1/5 — Can’t get prescription

*2026-04-20, version 1.1.57*

Still trying to get my prescription from an appointment I had a week ago. So now I’m a week without my necessary daily medications. There is nowhere in the app to view important information from the appointment I had, it only shows the information I provided not even the doctors name or any notes they may have made. This is my first time using this service and so far it’s been terrible.

### 1/5 — Very poor service!!

*2026-04-03, version 1.1.57*

Very poor care. Doctor called my daughter who is over 18 but shy and currently visiting out of state . He asked her symptoms and she told him everything. He asked what she she wanted and she said a doctor note and he rushed her off the phone. The girl is sick and so nasally and the doctor has zero care or compassion just rushed her off the phone. Unacceptable to a service we pay for. I advised her to call back to see if she can get a different doctor because she was heading to an urgent care to self pay but this virtual care is what we PAY FOR!!! Hire doctors that care!!

### 1/5 — Do not pay for this service!

*2026-03-02*

This is my second year to pay for this service. I won’t make this mistake again! The “so-called” doctor did not do a thing for me except say that I need to go to my primary doctor or urgent care doctor! In addition, this “so-called” doctor said he didn’t believe an urgent care doctor would know much. One of the last forms asked to fill out is who would you see if Recuro wasn’t available. So now, I pay for this service, plus I need to go to the urgent care to pay a copay + the cost of meds! This “so-called” doctor probably had his paperwork for me already filled out before speaking to me personally. I have no respect for this company and the way it operates.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Fast n Easy!

*2026-08-19, version 1.1.64*

Had an appointment booked in minutes and meds a couple hours later! It’s great!

### 5/5 — HORRIFIC company that doesn’t care about their clients.

*2026-07-03*

I contacted Recuro through the app this morning to schedule a counseling appointment which allowed me to pick a provider and 3 available times. The app then froze so I contacted customer support who assured me they could schedule the time and provider I had previously selected. I was told I would be contacted by phone to be informed of my appointment time by phone once they spoke with the provider.

I NEVER received a phone call so I checked the app and was shocked to see an appointment I NEVER approved scheduled at a day and time I did not request. I specifically told the rep I was not available that day. When I called customer service after discovering the appointment , they curtly told me they could cancel the appointment (of course still charge me the fee ) even though I never selected or approved that date or time. They were unwilling to reschedule to a different day or time or work with me in ANY way. I was finally given the option to be refunded which will take 10 days and rescheduled which I won’t be doing. As a licensed therapist myself, I’m incredibly upset and frustrated that this is how mental health companies treat their clients.

### 5/5 — Doctors are great!

*2026-06-18, version 1.1.59*

I appreciate the doctors are knowledgeable and respectful and allow you to fully explain your issue and even ask questions on things they can not help you with but can give you guidance. But most important it is so easy. You can be anywhere in between classes at home vacationing.

### 5/5 — Love it

### 5/5 — The Dr was very helpful.

### 5/5 — Great Service

*2026-04-05, version 1.1.57*

Requested a call on 4/5 and the team was kind enough to let me know it would be a slight delay
due to the holiday - much appreciated! The provider called when advised, reviewed my note of symptoms, and asked all appropriate questions. Quick Rx sent to pharmacy for pickup!
