## What is RecVault?

RecVault captures audio and video with a unique segmented architecture — every 5 seconds, a new segment is saved and uploaded to your iCloud. Even if your phone loses power or the app crashes mid-recording, everything up to the last segment is safe.

  Record audio or video in auto-split segments. Each segment is saved independently, so interruptions never cause data loss.

• Real-Time iCloud Backup
  Segments upload automatically to your private iCloud container. Reinstall the app or switch devices — your recordings come back.

  Switch between audio-only and video recording. Video supports zoom, focus, exposure, flash, front/rear camera, and grid overlay.

• Smart Quality Control
  Auto mode adjusts recording quality based on available storage. Manual options include resolution (720p–4K), frame rate (24–60fps), and audio bitrate (32–256kbps).

• Merge & Export
  Segments merge into a single file when recording ends. Export via the system share sheet, or download a ZIP of all segments.

• Background Audio Recording
  Keep recording audio when you switch apps or lock the screen (enable in Settings).

  Set a minimum storage threshold. The app stops recording automatically when space runs low.
