## What is Red Book Companion?

Make building system specification easy with CSR Gyprock’s new Red Book Companion application, which has revolutionised the way design-industry professionals access system information, performance detail and technical guidance for wall, ceiling, column and beam systems. This innovative, cloud-based application features the full content of the new Red Book, redesigned for use on any phone, tablet, laptop or desktop computer.

The application offers quick and easy navigation to Red Book sections and sub-sections, as well as an integrated System Selector that assists with navigation to system options that meet specific performance criteria.

Users can personalise the Red Book Companion with the ability to bookmark systems of interest and add notes and sketches, while the share function bridges the gap between users mobile devices and working drawings.

Access to technical support is even easier through the Red Book Companion which provides the ability to start a technical enquiry directly with the DesignLINK team.

The app launch coincides with the release of the 2017 Red Book, Australia’s most widely recognised and respected fire, acoustic and thermal design guide, which features over 975 wall, ceiling, column and beam systems. Helping architects, designers, engineers and specifiers with the selection of building systems, the comprehensive guide provides a wealth of performance detail, including:
