### 3/5 — Not fair

*2026-08-27, version 3.72.1*

I really like the concept of this game but what l don’t like is that you continually win the items you already own which is very frustrating when you can see there is literally hundreds of items you need it really is unfair and l know l would play it much more if this wasn’t the case..

### 4/5 — Missing the blitz

*2026-08-26, version 3.72.1*

Have played for a long time it’s absolutely incredible to relax and get creative! I do really miss the blitz games that used to happen. Was so much fun paying entry and being able to meet the challenges and vote!

### 4/5 — Creative

*2026-08-23, version 3.72.0*

Fun game but would be a 5 if it didn’t take so long to get points in order to buy the premium items.

### 3/5 — Was fun

*2026-08-23, version 3.72.0*

So I got to page seven and the last vote for until the end of the page and now it won’t let me go any further just keeps saying something went wrong. I have tried opening and closing the game. Uninstalling and reinstalling the game and turning off my tablet for fifteen minutes and then turning it back on and it still won’t let me go any further. Has anyone else had this issue and if so can you please tell me how you fixed it i didn’t spend much but i did spend some money on this game and feel like maybe i should get it back if the game is going to continue to not let me play it anymore. If there is a way to fix this someone please tell me how i really do like this game and would be disappointed if i had to stop playing it and waisted some money on it.

### 4/5 — I love it, but…

*2026-08-22, version 3.72.0*

I spend a lot of money on this game, and I play every single day! I can’t complete my photo album. This upsets me, I spend about $20-$50 a week and can’t complete the album! Not right!

### 3/5 — Good and bad

*2026-08-22, version 3.72.0*

This is a fun game to work with. It is a bit costly and you’re limited if you do not spend money in the game. If you care about the voting system and getting awards, then you have to resign to the fact that everything must to be white, beige and tan. Even if the description calls for colorful, bold or fun colors or a theme. So if you don’t care about the voting system and awards, you’ll enjoy it.

### 2/5 — Repetitive, boring and annoying

*2026-08-21, version 3.72.0*

Very fun at first, but gets boring and repetitive very quickly. It’s also really annoying with pop-ups, confusing gimmicks, and lack of quality of life features. I can’t believe after all these years there’s still no way to get rid of items you don’t want. That is such a basic feature. You should be able to sell them for a few coins. Instead, you’re stuck with a bunch of ugly items in your inventory that you’ll never use. There’s also no way to favourite items, so you always have to scroll past the ugly stuff in your inventory. It’s exhausting.

### 2/5 — Overstimulating

*2026-08-21, version 3.72.0*

I loved this app, always enjoyed it in my downtime. Re downloaded it recently and it’s a whole new app? Instead of being calm it’s overstimulating and a completely different structure, it’s hard to find good free games these days - wishing it would go back to how it was.

### 2/5 — Expensive

*2026-08-20, version 3.72.0*

Too expensive to play much. Items cost a lot to buy and you don’t make enough per design to pay for the next one unless you spend real cash. Not much fun anymore. Unless you are vanilla, your design will seldomly win.

### 3/5 — User Foibles & More & More Gen-AI

*2026-08-19, version 3.72.0*

The platform and premise of this app was wonderul for a long time. It allows adequate freedom in designs to make them fun, has relatively fast voting turnaround, structures competition into smaller groups than the whole user base to make comparison easier, has a great interface and ways to progress that don’t require real money.

However, over the last year, the app has been adding more and more pay-to-progress options including a ridiculous $18/mo. premium subscription, while simultaneously using more and more gen-AI visuals to replace artwork. The descriptions are all in ChatGPT-ese. They’re clearly cutting their costs and team needs while trying to tighten the thumbscrews for more money. And the gen-AI visual elements are obviously lower quality, especially the “painted portraits” that all have the same teenage-ish wide-eyed AI look. I logged on excited to pay for a monthly pass for the current art deco/nouveau theme, but it’s more Gen-AI theme than anything else. I’m not paying to support that.

For a long time the only problem that kept me from paying for the premium pass for months on end was the user base and their unrelenting addiction to beige or grey minimalism. It made every single themed challenge or prompt very frustrating to compete. Consider a recent room whose design title was “Pink to the Brink,” premised on doing room design for someone who loved pink. However, all of the top voted rooms were entirely white or cream or light beige, while rooms that actually featured pink colors tended to score dramatically lower. I’m not sure if the problem is that users simply don’t read, people’s aesthetic sense is horribly bland, or this has something to do with the “uncluttered” look of a bare room on a small screen. I feel for the app team because I think they were trying to gently guide against this - many challenge descriptions will include language like “please include a pop of color!”. But if users /do/ include a pop of color, voting scores are always lower. The only way to keep users who don’t always produce all beige rooms from being frustrated into app vacations, I think, is to add tighter requirements to designs that actually go with the description. This problem has worsened now that voting turnaround is shorter. The reuse of room layouts encourages this bc people approach them the same way every time when they don’t read the description.

### 4/5 — Enjoyable game…

*2026-08-19, version 3.72.0*

I like the creative aspects of the game; the less money you spend to play, the more creative you have to be to do well; as a retired/senior player, I don’t spend a lot to play. It’s a fun game overall but the design judging is very often inconsistent; as we all know, taste is subjective. I’m not talking about personal expectations to win either; player’s can see ( and compare against) the other designs in competition in the live play portion of the game. There are no categories for player’s varied styles and/or personal tastes, or for those who aren’t blessed with innate style. Or when a certain style decor is specified, many ignore the requirements but are judged to have better designs than those who adhere to the requested criteria, only to find the effort wasted; not every international style can be done in only beige and white. Why impose criteria if it won’t be considered in judging? At these (or other frustrating) times, I smile, accept all the aforementioned as a part of the process, and enjoy the game for the personal satisfaction, personal design growth, and fun for fun’s sake that it is, because it is entertaining and fun. Recommend…

### 3/5 — Miss the OLD Redecor

*2026-08-18, version 3.72.0*

I’ve been on this app for a couple years now and I just miss how things were before, it was an enjoyable designing game now it feels like I have to do soooo much just to design. It’s kinda exhausting taking the joy out of things for sure.

### 4/5 — Relaxing, but financially frustrating

*2026-08-17, version 3.72.0*

I love making the designs - it promotes mindfulness and creativity. The only serious downside is that when your status is demoted for not playing enough, you lose access to decor items that you purchased (often with actual money).

### 3/5 — Ok . Just pls read this

*2026-08-17, version 3.72.0*

I didn’t know if I should’ve put 3 stars or 2 stars but anyway the games fine it’s just nothing like the advert ! The actual game is annoying to me . But that is my opinion so it might not be annoying too any one else . So yeah , that’s my review 🙂

### 4/5 — Nice game!

*2026-08-17, version 3.71.1*

I like most stuff about this game I have been playing for almost a year 210 days The rest is good but one thing has to be changed, past security of your designer status should not apply to your current period.

### 3/5 — Nice “next level colouring book” style home design game, but far too monetised

*2026-08-16, version 3.71.1*

I played this game from around launch and really enjoyed it, occasionally buying season passes. After returning a few years later, the experience feels much worse.

Voting no longer feels fair, with great designs often ranking below much weaker ones.

Coins are capped through daily voting limits, while tokens, which are needed for most materials, are difficult to earn.

The Designer League has become overly grindy. Even after completing every live design for months, it’s almost impossible to progress beyond Superstar, with 40 wins needed just to stay and 75 to move up.

With new item drops every week, the game is struggling to keep up structurally. Better filtering options are really needed, particularly as collections continue to grow.

The album is also far too difficult to complete, and there should be rewards for guaranteed NEW album cards.

Purchasing new collection drops is particularly disappointing. It feels too much like a gamble, and buying the smallest set often seems to leave you with the less desirable items from the new collection. When you’re spending real money on tokens, that’s especially off-putting. There needs to be much more transparency about which items you can actually receive when purchasing a set.

Challenges are also recycled too frequently.

Overall, the game feels increasingly focused on monetisation rather than rewarding players. Even when paying for a monthly season’s pass, you’ll still be struggling with the grind for coins and tokens. Many challenges aren’t available to play unless you have the new items, adding pressure to spend money to unlock them.

The only thing in the game that actually feels like it has good value rewards is the pinwheel game!

It’s still a fun, relaxing “colouring book” game, but for what it is, the prices can be difficult to justify when they can exceed the cost of a full video game.

### 3/5 — Needs a better system to secure wins for free items.

*2026-08-16, version 3.71.1*

This app can become expensive. In order to participate in all designs it will cost money to unlock. There are opportunities to play for free with upgraded items, but it depends on others to vote on your design. Other players are encouraged to vote by receiving coins. Wins are not based on your talent nor for for following design challenge rules. It’s clear that other people just click on any design to obtain coins. The coins are needed to buy items. You cannot unlock items with coins. You need to purchase a separate coin to unlock new items. It’s a fun game. I’ve played for years, but I don’t like the newer top off version. It’s a money frain and you don’t get anything in return.

### 2/5 — Use to be fun

*2026-08-15, version 3.71.1*

I don’t know what happened to this game but now the worse designs win. I assume whoever is spending the most money. Design that look like children did wins. I use to win first place all the time now mismatched threw together designs win. I don’t know who’s judging these days but go back to the old ways.

### 3/5 — Used to be better

*2026-08-15, version 3.71.1*

This used to be my favorite game. Unfortunately, it has become almost impossible to play, unless you plan to spend a lot of money. The only way to earn coins to design with, is to rate designs submitted by other people, however, there is a limit per day on how many times you can do this and it’s not a lot. Most designs have a required item selection to use, however, it feels impossible to obtain those items so that you can actually submit a design. Until there are more opportunities created to earn additional coins, it is no longer enjoyable to play.

### 1/5 — Redecor

*2026-08-19, version 3.72.0*

This game is kinda fun

### 1/5 — Cannot log in

*2026-08-16, version 3.71.1*

This app used to be a lot of fun but now I can’t even log in. I tried all the options and not able to.

### 1/5 — Pay 2 Play

*2026-08-15, version 3.71.1*

Same designs ad nauseam, but limiting what you can or can’t use each time they present the exact design, as if it’s a “new one”..

I’ve used over 90% of what I had saved up, as with the changes, each item purchased with your coins is so exorbitant, that the return on your design submission is less than 2% of what you used..

It’s become unplayable unless you purchase things with real money, and they smash you with buy, buy, buy, to the point that you are closing out the popups 6-7 times, every time you open the app, or change menus..

Over it..!

### 1/5 — Booo

*2026-08-09, version 3.71.0*

Booo very bad

### 1/5 — Horrible customer support

*2026-08-08, version 3.71.0*

I’ve played for years and it was my favorite game. I’ve had more technical and purchasing issues the past month than I have in the past few years. I’ve been a premium member for at least 2 years. Instead of being helpful they are accusatory and slow to respond. They don’t seem to have a way to track purchases on their own app, which is concerning given the amount I’ve spent with them. I’m so disappointed. Almost heartbroken. I really did love this game. Now whenever I login I have a bad taste in my mouth.

### 1/5 — Glitchy

*2026-08-06, version 3.71.0*

I really enjoy this game. I find it very relaxing however, I have noticed over the last few days. I am completing designs however I’m not able to submit them. It keeps telling me to complete all of the requirements when I clearly have. And it takes away the quantity of each item I previously used. I’m not happy with this

### 1/5 — Too Many Inappropriate ads

*2026-08-03, version 3.71.0*

I really enjoy this game, but recently the ads have changed. I have to sit through ads that depict a character being stripped down… I want to delete the game, but I enjoy this game. Please screen your ads before you shock an unwilling public. I hope I don’t see an ad for Romantic Nuts and Bolts! Porn! Scavenger Chase or Puzzle Fusion Tactics again!!! :-O I would like to show the screen shot of how you can click on it to talk with a naked woman. It’s disgusting. Remove this offensive ad it’s disgusting!I’m concerned that a child playing this game can easily view PORN !!😤

### 1/5 — Why

*2026-08-03, version 3.71.0*

I just want to play a chill game but I’m to young what’s so bad in it that I have to be over 18 😢😢😕😕😟😟😣😣😩😩😤😤😞😞

### 1/5 — Frustrated

*2026-08-03, version 3.71.0*

So I went to restart the game from the beginning and it said I can’t play for another year. When did this start so disappointed I will be deleting this game and not ever trying to download it again if I have to wait a year to play it then I don’t want to play it ever again I liked this game also. Oh well maybe you’ll stop telling people they can’t play anymore if they try to restart from the beginning so you don’t lose anyone else. So disappointed.

### 1/5 — Hate speech/vile and inappropriate photo of a Dictator who is creating heart with hands

*2026-07-31, version 3.71.0*

I’ve had this app game for years and I’ve enjoyed the creative side and outlet and held this game moderate to high regard unfortunately today., July 31, 2026.
I was voting in the game and after the winner was revealed their picture was of Hitler displaying two human hands in the shape of a heart. I was shocked and left with total disbelief. Unfortunately , these voting rounds take seconds after you’ve selected a winner and after some extensive digging for customer support to reach out to report.
I needed to complete a “form” and authored a concern and attempted to be an advocate. I have copied and pasted their responses:
You will notice my original question is not present because it was either deleted or prevented from being visible with the communication.

Hi
In a sense Redecor will do nothing?
If that’s the case, it’s disappointing.

### 5/5 — Where have all my materials gone

I enjoy Redecor but don’t know what I’ve done wrong as I’ve lost a huge amount of design materials that I had.

### 5/5 — Playing for years!

*2026-08-18, version 3.72.0*

This is my go to game app. I love the creative aspects and the competitive nature. I just submitted the update so I hope my loyalty to the game can be recognized and rewarded. Sometimes I buy the monthly membership to unlock the seasons items. You learn a lot about your style and preference and how it’s different than that of other users. The only downside is that plain monotone or natural colors will win duals and 1st place over the more colorful or creative interior decorations. For example, if you prefer pink and purple hues on your design and use that time matching pieces then someone who decided to play all beige items or white will win against yours because it more convenient clean and comfortable. So age wise I’d say over 20 or older would enjoy playing more than youth probably because of the decision making and the nature of the game, but it is user friendly interface welcoming for all ages and clean ads!! (That’s important to me when playing these phone games) although no ads would be preferred I’m glad they aren’t explicit and they are family friendly.
