My only negative feedback right now is that we use the app from the LG TV store and it is glitchy. First off, I’m grateful that there IS an LG TV app. None of the other apps of this kind have done that and I’m not a huge fan of casting to the TV. That said, the show or movie will buffer multiple times and sometimes freeze altogether. It isn’t an internet issue on our end. Some shows are much better than others. Some how we got on the subject of tv and I mentioned that I was tired of seeing the same movies/channels over and over again. That’s when she recommended Redeem TV and I have surely enjoyed a couple of the Vindication series. I don’t have to worry about hearing profane language or seeing two of the same sex together. It’s so refreshing. And I loved The Chosen series!! I started season 1 of Vindication a few days ago and tonight I finished season 2. I was ready to begin watching season 3 when I found out I could only watch by making a donation . I was crushed because unfortunately I’m currently extremely low on funds and won’t be able to make a donation at this time. Rest assured I will make a donation as soon as I can. Great show with real life scenarios reminding us how we can turn to God for guidance and direction. He enjoys having something to watch and/or listen to during his waking hours. Finding content on live TV and/or streaming apps that is both wholesome and enjoyable has become increasingly difficult. Redeem TV is a wonderful alternative and I hope that as it continues to add content that quality will not be sacrificed. That being said, I would surely appreciate its creators resolving app glitches that hinder immediate access to donor content. I’m particularly disappointed by the lack of accessibility to the third season of Vindication because it held my husband’s interest and attention. This app is filled with content that has religious apostasy. For instance: Catholicism, Scientology, and other unbiblical pseudo-christian religions. Catholicism is subject to the pope and his dogmas, not to Christ and His Word. Most of the content plants doubt in the minds of viewers of how dangerous these religions and worldviews can be. There are a few biblical programs but most of the content this app provides is not. We Bible believing Christians need to wake up. If we truly desire to honor Christ, we must Honor his Word. 2 Corinthians 11:14-15 KJV “And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. It is not my device or tv because other apps work just fine. Please undo this last update. ### 2/5 — The Chosen *2024-03-09, version 8.321.6* I would not consider a production by a Jew; a gay and a Mormon to be an accurate production of Jesus Christ or a Christian production ### 2/5 — AirPlay Stopped Working *2023-12-19, version 8.321.5* Since an app update in Fall 2023 AirPlay has stopped functioning when sending to Apple TV 2nd generation. A message on AppleTV says “An error occurred while loading this content.” I can still AirPlay from other ‘TV’ apps on this iPad, so it must not be an Apple issue. ### 2/5 — Good but *2023-12-09, version 8.321.5* The app is loaded with excellent content but the problem is with the app now. The interface use to be simple and easy to pick the language. Now lot of bugs, especially different languages are not available, while casting unable to see the subtitle and audio languages to choose. Why should I have to jump through hoops to get on board? I just want to click on icon and have it open up! Very annoying to have to do my email address and then go back to email and click on the message you sent me. For some reason, if I’m on my iPhone, your message does not come to my email there but goes to my iPad! Good, wholesome, Christian shows and no Hollywood rubbish. And no monthly subscription! My only complaint is that the interface could use some more work and options. The shows are well organized, and it is not hard to find what I need, but there are literally no customization options. I want an option to stream at a lower resolution because my internet connection is weak. A day/night option might be nice. And an option to not automatically play the next video in a series. Also, the app keeps going to portrait mode, which may be fine for phones but is annoying on my iPad. I want to keep it in landscape mode and not have to keep shifting the orientation of my iPad. ### 4/5 — Bug that needs attention *2024-03-14, version 8.321.6* We love this app and use it all the time! However right now there is a bug that makes it very difficult to use the app. I tried to click on the app support but it takes me to the Redeem TV website to a page that says “404 error”. I am really hoping that the developer reads this review. When we try to watch a video, we can only watch it with the iPad upright and with the video filling only half the screen. If I try to turn the iPad in landscape mode, sideways, and click on full screen, the video gets very small and only fills 1/4 of the screen. No matter what we do it stays like this. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app to no avail. Really hoping that the developer reads this! I can’t remember the names, but my fav movies so far: -The one about the man getting early dementia and getting lost -The documentary about the deaf girl -Something about sound? -The movie about the widower with a family to raise (little blond girl on the cover, she likes daisies or something?)
