I am English. On the whole it’s very useful ### 3/5 — Nice but needs improvement *2025-06-28* Nice app, for the most part. I recognize that a lot of work was put into creating these exercises. However, some speakers speak too fast, don’t speak clearly, or don’t enunciate well. Some words are also not pronounced correctly which makes listening difficult. Occasionally I had to choose an incorrect answer because the correct answer was not being recognized as the correct response. At times, the recording begins as soon as one hits the “start” button. A slight pause would be helpful and less stressful. **Developer response:** Thanks for your feedback. Sometimes a quick review of instructions at the beginning of the lesson can help clarify how to respond; different activities have different expectations of user interaction. Türkiye'nin uzman kullanıcılarından biriyim. Yeni ameliyat olanlar için çok şanslı uygulama olduğunu düşünüyorum. Rehabilitasyon ve adaptasyon sürecinde olanlar için eğitici sesleri rahatlıkla öğrenebilir ve ayırt etmede çok yardımcı olacağını düşünüyorum. Emeği geçen herkese teşekkürler. But now that I’ve used it a number of hours, I’ve learned my way around some, and find it helpful. Some of the exercises seem to error out almost as frequently as they work. For example, you’re instructed to listen to a sequence of five tones, and describe whether it is ascending, descending, or some combination of the two. it will play two tones, and then the remaining three tones are not played. Or the exercise will begin, but then spin and eventually show a single word “error,” without further explanation. But other exercises work really well. As you complete exercises, additional exercises become unlocked. It isn’t always easy to tell which ones you’ve done. If you accidentally tap “skip,” there’s no way to go back, which is frustrating. Remember you can always tap the speaker button to listen to the word (or instrument or whatever) again. **Developer response:** We’re glad to hear that you’ve found the app helpful, and we’re sorry for the inconvenience you experienced with the audio errors. Очень выручает, если нет рядом сурдопедагога и логопеда. Саморазвитие определенно есть. Но иногда вылетает через полчаса работы. Кроме того в русских фразах есть неточности и отсутствие вопросительной интонации. В целом очень полезная программа. Удачи разработчикам! ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Funktioniert nicht *2025-03-31, version 2.6.4* Verschluckt immer die Wörter ### 1/5 — Frustrating and misleading results *2024-10-15* All the exercises are designed to test your ability to hear with the sound processor. Many of the exercises are ones where you listen to a series of spoken phrases that you have to sort in the order you hear them. Here’s the flaw: the app includes phrases that are not among the choices. If you doubt yourself, you will get the false impression that you aren’t hearing as well as you actually do. If you know that the app is mistaken, then you get frustrated because you have to get a failing score to get out of the exercise and move into the next. It’s useless! **Developer response:** Thank you for sharing your feedback, and I’m really sorry to hear about the frustration you’ve experienced with the exercises. We completely understand how disheartening it can be when things don’t seem to work as expected, especially when you’re putting in the effort to improve your hearing. In some exercises, the full list of spoken phrases may require scrolling down the screen, and this could be why certain phrases weren't visible. We’ve just released a small update today that now includes an indication if scrolling is needed, so you’ll know when there are more options below. Could you please try the updated version and let us know how it goes? Leider kommt es reproduzierbar zu Fehlermeldungen, wenn in Hörübungen (Anfänger, Tiergeräusche) falsche Antworten gegeben werden. En concreto no funciona el control de “Mostrar siempre el texto”, aunque esté deshabilitado este control te muestra siempre el texto de los audios con lo que muchos ejercicios pierden utilidad. ### 2/5 — Sometimes Works *2024-08-13* Weirdly, my favorite part about this app is listening to the instructions.
