### 3/5 — No response from Support

*2026-07-31, version 4.4*

Strava integration stopped working. I’ve emailed Support several times and got no response.

### 2/5 — Problems linking with Strava

*2026-07-03, version 4.4*

Have used the app for a few years (free version). Really liked it and all worked well. However, it has stopped uploading my data into Strava, even if I try to do it manually. Contacted customer support but nothing heard.

### 3/5 — Can’t consistently log grades from watch app

*2026-05-21, version 4.3.3*

Good app, but I can’t consistently log my grades from the watch. Whenever I leave the tracking screen to pause my workout or change the music I can’t seem to get back to grade controls. I also have ended up in a situation where some of my boulders are rated on YDS and can’t fix them. Needs a little polish.

### 2/5 — Trop de bugs

*2026-04-04*

Appli avec du potentiel mais trop de crash, bug, erreur de synchro

### 4/5 — Great but hasn’t improved much recently

*2026-03-03, version 4.3.2*

The app is great for logging my climbs. Love the ability to add my own grades as the nearby gyms use their own custom rankings.

Its a shame the lifetime membership has been removed. I was hoping to use that after buying an initial 1 year membership to see how much I use the app. Please could this be reinstated.

Frustratingly I have emailed a few times using the built in feature of the app to get new places added however none of these have been added to the list of gyms in the app.

### 2/5 — Premier abord bien mais ..

*2026-01-14*

### 4/5 — Great but hasn’t improved much recently

*2026-01-10, version 4.3.1*

The app is great for logging my climbs. Love the ability to add my own grades as the nearby gyms use their own custom rankings.

Frustratingly I have emailed a few times using the built in feature of the app to get new places added however none of these have been added to the list of gyms in the app.

Today I tried opening up my session in detail today and the app just crashes even though the most recent update was meant to fix this

### 3/5 — Manque des salles

*2025-11-02*

L’application est bien mais il manque des salles d’escalade et le créateur ne semble pas vouloir les ajouter malgré plusieurs emails envoyés en suivant les instructions de l’app

### 3/5 — No response

*2025-10-16, version 4.2*

App is decent but developers never respond. My gyms are not listed, the ones that are have been closed for years. Emailed several times over the past year, no answer and no fix.

### 2/5 — No responses from admin support

*2025-06-07, version 4.1.1*

I was stoked when I tried this app for the first time while traveling for work. We just got a local gym this year so when I got back home, I was disappointed to see it was lot listed in the app yet. They do offer a way to notify the admin that there is a gym missing…..I’ve tried 4 times now with no luck. If they don’t respond to those requests, then how are people with new local gyms suppose to make use of the app?

### 2/5 — Lost quite a few sessions through crashes

*2025-05-20, version 4.1.1*

Good app when it works: but crashes so regularly, I’ve lost quite few sessions to the ether!

### 4/5 — Incredible app but found one issue

*2025-05-01, version 4.1*

I am loving the app and tracking my climbs. It is a nearly perfect app, but if I forget to unpause or start a session and then want go back to add an ascent, it won’t let me add -it simply edits the last ascent and doesn’t change or add anything.

### 3/5 — Love the session tracking but Strava integration needs work

*2025-02-28, version 4.0.3*

Session tracking is 10/10. Love it, however only my first session was ever synced with Strava. I thought if I deleted the session from app and re-transferred from my watch, it may sync but then I removed it from both platforms!! So would also be nice to be able to undo deleting a session as they’re quite meaningful.

### 2/5 — Buggy

*2025-01-26, version 4.0.2*

Stops logging mid-session if you take a 5 minute break. Does not consistently upload to strava. Random crashes, losing your whole session. Now shows a mix of imperial/metric units when imperial is selected. Sometimes you cannot tap on an old session to view details. Cannot imagine paying for this if the basic features do not work.

### 2/5 — Buggy with no support

*2025-01-14, version 4.0.2*

I’ve reported some issues, reported new climbing gyms and no response nor support was given. App is still buggy, especially on Watch. Canceled my subscription as it gives me nothing.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Strava integration

*2026-08-14, version 4.4*

Been broken for 2 months. Sent a support email and still waiting for a fix. Disappointed as a subscriber.

### 1/5 — Sync doesnt work

*2026-07-06, version 4.4*

Sync to strava has been buggy for years. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt. You can try all the troubleshooting you find on the internet it simply wont work for a while. Then itll work couple weeks later. These devs do not respond to emails or reviews quickly. I dont understand how they never added a manual sync or manual upload feature for years now.

### 1/5 — Waste of money

*2026-06-25, version 4.4*

Sometimes tags me at a local outdoor crag rather than indoors. Height detection is sometimes wildly off. No response on error reports been sent off

### 1/5 — Can’t do the basics right

*2026-04-29*

I tried the free version because I was considering upgrading to the paid version, but the basic functionality is simply not reliable enough.

The biggest issue is the Apple Watch app. During workouts, the Watch screen often becomes locked or unresponsive, which makes it impossible to use the app properly while climbing. Even worse, the Watch app crashed during one of my sessions and none of the data was saved or synced to Apple Fitness or Apple Health. I lost the record of several climbs with no warning, no recovery option, and no way to retrieve the workout afterwards.

For a climbing tracking app, this is not a minor bug. Reliable workout recording is the most basic feature. I would have been willing to consider the paid version if the free version worked well, but I do not believe that upgrading should be the solution to fundamental stability problems. If the core tracking experience is this unreliable in the free version, it does not give me confidence in the paid product.

Overall, I cannot recommend this app.

### 1/5 — Apple Watch functionality

*2026-02-07, version 4.3.2*

Still not able to input grades on the Apple Watch / it’s been reported but still not fixed. I will have to find another app now and I’d like 6 months subs back as it’s pretty unusable.

### 1/5 — Not working on Apple Watch

*2026-01-08, version 4.3.1*

I used to love this app but now it’s stopped allowing me to record what grades my routes are. It does the first one and then any after that just gets a tick. It also crashes all the time too. Sad, probably won’t renew unless it gets fixed.

### 1/5 — Gym not available

*2025-11-21, version 4.3*

Gym not available in app and not added after notifying multiple times over the course of 18 months.

### 1/5 — Locking up

*2025-05-24, version 4.1.1*

Won’t transfer climbs from watch to phone. Also now locking up on me. Wont do anything when I tap the screen. Paid for year of service. Waste of money

### 1/5 — My Apple Watch Series 7 isn’t working with the app

*2025-01-13, version 4.0.2*

I was extremely excited to log all my climbs and altitudes gained this year with their app but my Apple Watch Series 7 doesn’t seem to work with this app. Should the app be working on my series of Apple watch? I have given the app every single permission asked by the app. Please help.

### 1/5 — So good until recent update

*2024-11-20, version 4.0*

Workouts no longer log at all. It constantly restarts if I try to return to my watch Home Screen. I can’t change from sport to top rope without it restarting.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Love the app. Strava integration broken though

*2026-07-21, version 4.4*

I absolutely love this app. The accuracy of auto tracking is fantastic. UX is really well designed and easy to use. The only problem I have right now is that the Strava integration has been broken for a month. Hope that can be fixed soon!

### 5/5 — Works great

*2026-04-22, version 4.3.3*

Very useful app. Tracks all my climbs in a session and pushes it to Strava. Recommend!

### 5/5 — Great app!

*2026-03-27, version 4.3.3*

I had some unknown issues with strava, never figured out how to fix it. Looked around and found Redpoint. AMAZING app for climbing. Thank you for making this app!

### 5/5 — 行

*2026-02-27*

I hope to add Chinese. Thank you.

### 5/5 — So far so good, just have one issue

*2025-07-30, version 4.1.1*

Hey! Love the app, however my gym isn’t showing up when I search it, and the “add missing info?” Button either doesn’t work or crashes the app. Please fix this!

### 5/5 — Awesome Free Climbing App

*2025-04-12, version 4.1*

What could be better? A free app to help track your climbing. I love this thing, even though it doesn’t have the newest gym near my house yet. It keeps track of all the climbs accurately. Whoever created this did a thoughtful, creative job to build a useful tracker.

I haven’t tried it outside yet but that is coming soon.

### 5/5 — So good

*2025-01-03, version 4.0.2*

Best climbing app by far!

### 5/5 — Easy to use, enjoying seeing progress

*2024-08-24, version 3.7.3*

The phone app and the Apple Watch app are simple, easy to use and intuitive, and I’ve really liked that I can see over time that I am improving.
The only thing I’d change if I could is, making it a little easier to change grade systems at workout set up. My regular climbing centre uses one grading system, but when I’m travelling around the country I might do bouldering or top roping at another centre that uses a different grading system, and it’s not always obvious from the grades on the wall which system they are using (and the examples in the app don’t always display enough grades to help you pick the right one) - but to change the grade system I have to go back to my phone, change it to whatever the new-to-me gym is using, then change it back to the system my usual gym uses when I get home. It’s not horrendous, just a little cumbersome and a pain to sort when you’ve just gone up a wall, come back down and realised the grade you’ve just climbed isn’t a grade in the system you’ve assigned to that climb type…

### 5/5 — Funktioniert, simpel zu bedienen, nutzbar auf Apple-watch

*2024-04-11*

Seit dem letzten Update funktioniert wieder alles. Vielen Dank dafür!

**Developer response:** Sorry about the issue! Apple has acknowledged they have introduced a bug regarding the barometric sensor in the latest updates of iOS 17.4 and watchOS 10.4. I have added a workaround in the latest update v3.7.3 which asks for a new permission.

Could you please try the update and see if that fixes your problem as well?

– Frederik

### 5/5 — Update fixed tracking issue

*2024-03-29, version 3.7.3*

App is tracking height again! Happy to use this to track my climbing workouts👍
