Close, though. Recent update is impressive. My Go To ai app. ### 4/5 — Subscribed! But… *2023-07-17* I decided to subscribe and I’m still happy that I did. There are three things that need an update, though. 1) The app logo is on every saved image. Subscribers should have the option to turn this on and off, as they choose. 2) There an option for each save to include the text and style used. Great! However if you do that once and then save the same image a second time at full resolution, it doesn’t actually save the second image. It says it does, but it doesn’t. Bug! 3) When saving with the text and style showing, the negative prompt is not included. Oops. Things missing include higher resolution output (most are doing 1500 pixels minimum, this is half that) and being able to disable the ReDraw logo after becoming a paid subscriber. There are about 10 ideas I have for UX and feature improvements, but no way to communicate them. Oh well! I'm still really impressed and the results are consistently more artistic looking (not saying "real") than the bigger apps. Very worthwhile! ### 4/5 — Subscribed! I’ve created some really cool things! ### 2/5 — I wanted to like this app but… *2022-09-04* I wanted to like this app but I finally decided that I had to cancel my ($20 yearly) subscription because: 1) the save function puts the created art someplace that I can’t find (after many, many attempts); 2) the app charged me $2 for a HD rendering even though I had already subscribed for the year; 3) the art (rendered in the modernist style) would not make sense to a photographer when reviewed with the most basic criteria (for example, the land connections of a bridge spanning a lake were missing). I used the text input method to create the painting and the result was something that could only be a starting point (which definitely has some value). Since I don’t mind starting from a blank canvas, I’ll wait until the app’s problems are fixed before I consider subscribing again. ### 3/5 — Waste of money *2022-05-19* I looked at the application and thought that it looked like it had some potential. I decided to subscribe for a month to see the results. The first image I ran still had their logo in the corner. I thought I needed to restart the app , but that changed nothing. I tried it on my MAc m1, Iphone and Ipad Pro. What did I pay for? Also they charge for larger quality pictures even with a subscription. Cancelling immediately. Could have been a fun app but that are just money hungry ### 2/5 — Watermark? *2022-03-11, version 1.0.15* I liked it and subscribed, expecting to remove the watermark. The watermark is still there. Usually, once you subscribe, the watermark is removed. ### 4/5 — Great app *2022-02-23, version 1.0.13* Kindly add PixelArt to the redraws so we can pixelize images ### 2/5 — Potentially great *2022-02-11, version 1.0.12* This is potententially an amazing app that can generate some incredible images but is badly let down by very low resolution. Hopefully this can be improved in a future version; it would then be worth five stars. Update: I received a response from the developer saying that 4k resolution will be available shortly. It will incur a cost, but to me that would be worthwhile for some of my images, if the cost is not too great. Ha! *2024-08-03* All this does is replace your image with something on the internet. This was a joke, it doesn’t redraw anything! I asked it to just take a picture of a person and close there eyes. So it cuts off the face replaces with a different persons face distorted, and not even the same skin tone as the rest of the body! Don’t waste your time people. ### 1/5 — Amazing *2023-08-24, version 1.0.20* Read reviews, but few really give credit for what is an amazing art software. Each image if using the full redraw feature as opposed to amending an image, manages a different interpretation each time. Latest update - program does not respond to text data at all.Simply creates an image that bears no relation to the textual input. When I pay for an app I expect the quality to be better and not to have the watermark on it. Very disappointed. I select an art option. All I get in return is the message “Is anyone there?” Good question. **Developer response:** Dear LostInTranslation1961, for privacy reasons and in compliance with the European GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) we do not take personal data, such as the facial landmark. Face recognition is performed inside your phone by Apple software and the quality of this service is totally up to Apple. Giving a star for not recognizing a face means giving a star to Apple, not Redraw. Could you please change your rating? Bad points: Very low resolution, even for subscribers (512x512 is stupidly small). Watermark not removed for subscribers Says ‘priority processing’ for subscribers but doesn’t feel quicker. It’s also questionable that whatever cool art subscribers are creating (at low res), the developers can take that art, and scale up/sell themselves. If ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Great secret app *2024-02-23* It seems nobody knows about this app. It’s pretty darn fantastic! The models handle a lot of text or a little, which helps you explore. The results are more consistently cool to look at than most other apps. The FEB-2024 seems to have broken the ability to do high resolution, but I’m sure it’ll be fixed soon! Thanks ### 5/5 — Most artistic of all the AI apps! *2023-08-20* I'm super impressed with the types of multi-step processes I can come up with and the results. After a year of steady exploration, I'm still really impressed and the results are consistently more artistic looking (not saying "realistic") than the bigger apps. The subscription is very worthwhile if you want something that looks less futuristic and more like museum-quality art. The summer 2023 upgrade is mind blowing. Phenomenal improvements in both the results and in part of the user interface. (Frankly, I wish I could be part of such a great team. The quality has improved. The price is UNBEATABLE. Just try it. It understands so many languages. Tried prompting in French or German yet? You need this list or one like it to paste in the negative prompt window: pixelated,cropped,low quality,jpeg artifacts,ugly,duplicate,morbid,mutilated,out of frame,extra fingers,mutated hands,poorly drawn hands,poorly drawn face,mutation,deformed,blurry,dehydrated,bad anatomy,bad proportions,extra limbs,cloned face,disfigured,gross proportions,malformed limbs,missing arms,missing legs,extra arms,extra legs,fused fingers,too many fingers,long neck Just do it. It makes their software kick butt. Easter Egg: if you enter the name of a painter and their age it will give you a self portrait at that age in their style. Even photographers. This is such a creative and different app and the results can sometimes be jaw dropping. IIt’s a fascinating app if you have a little patience, which Ive never had, bc it’s not instant satisfaction, but is well worth the wait. ### 5/5 — This is.... amazing!!! *2022-08-06* All the images I transform are beautiful. they look like they were created by a real artist! The caricatures look like they were made by Tom Richmond!!! Every month I see new buttons added, now I can also create abstract works with an incredibly mature composition and visual language. On the text to picture side the results are beautiful if you start from a picture, but with just text you don't get results like DALL-E 2.
