Happened to all my friends too ! AVOID ### 2/5 — App doesn’t seem to get updated *2026-03-11, version 1.13* The concept is great and when it works it’s fab. However the app does often glitch and prevent you from answering, not showing answering options until the question has finished. No way to report any issue. ### 2/5 — Poor Connection *2020-04-23, version 1.1* Really poor connection tonight (23.04.2020) so we gave up playing as the app / connection kept kicking us out of the game. Lots of buffering and stopping unfortunately but thank you anyway. We played last night too and we had the same problem but it wasn’t as bad, I was going to play the bingo on Friday but probably won’t be able to because of the poor connection and buffering unfortunately. ### 3/5 — Because there’s nowhere else to rate the standard of questions *2020-06-18, version 1.2* The App’s main drawback is that it rarely tracks your score successfully. I did a quiz tonight and at one point should have had a multiple of 5 as my score (having dropped 15 points). However I was told I had scored 102 so I had either gained 2 points or lost 3. Not good. What drags the rating down though is some of the questions that are asked in the quizzes. Again, an example from tonight would be: In the 1st episode of Red Dwarf, how many humans were on the ship? Naturally, you would think this was asking for the number of humans in the original crew instead of the ragtag bunch we follow for the show’s duration, hence the specification of the 1st episode. However, the answer was 1 instead of the 100s or 1000s there were in the original crew. Questions like this along with the occasional opinion poll ruin the quizzing experience IMO. But you know, it’s still a good idea and has probably kept a lot of people saner than they might have been during this crisis. ### 5/5 — Very entertaining *2022-01-30, version 1.6.1* very good app lets you do a quiz! and their resturaunt food tastes good 100000/10 i reccomend you come! ### 5/5 — Such Fun! *2021-07-13, version 1.6.1* Love playing the Redtooth SmartQuiz app, it’s a fun & fair game! Kept us entertained all through lockdowns and now they can be found in some pubs! We particularly like the themed quizzes. The app works seamlessly and is super easy to use. Only issue we had was quite a bit of buffering when using the TV. The app works amazingly well and is perfectly in sync with the YouTube live streams.
