I love that it’s also accessible as a free version, which I don’t have a ton of additional income right now, so it’s very appreciated. I have been checking in daily, and it’s really helping my self love and helps me to reconnect with my journey, and the reason I’m working so hard toward my dream life in the first place. Being able to break it down into daily manageable steps is SO helpful and important, I deal with intense perfectionism and get overwhelmed with how many things I COULD be doing, and not knowing which one is the right or best option, and then getting stuck in anxiety and analysis paralysis, and the cycle repeats itself. This has been such a nice helping hand to start with these manageable and fun steps with this all holding my hand every step of the way. I haven been using this app for around two weeks now and I am VERY impressed. I’m so sad! 😭 ### 2/5 — Spirit Animal *2024-07-15, version 5.2.26* Hey, I was having a pretty good time with you’re app and I was super excited until I came upon the phrasing “spirit animal”. It’s known to be cultural appropriation and it makes me uncomfy to use an app that uses that type of language since it’s supposed to be for everyone. It’s hard for it to be for everyone when it’s bastardizing the culture of indigenous people. I would love to keep using it, but if it doesn’t change I’m probably gonna stop. ### 3/5 — Won’t Let Me Become Sea Star *2026-01-01, version 6.0.2* It won’t let me actually join the sea stars. I hit the button and nothing happens, so I guess I just can’t join? And I can’t figure out a way to contact anyone. Works well on my phone and iPad, but a landscape view on the iPad would be extremely helpful since I primarily use my iPad when connected to an apple keyboard that can only be used in landscape view. ### 4/5 — Off to a great start *2024-05-31, version 5.2.8* I didn’t have any expectations going into the app but after using it almost a dozen times it’s actually turning out to be pretty cool. It has you create a digital vision goal and journal about your journey to complete your goals. There’s exercises where you write a letter to yourself from your future self after you’ve reached your goals, etc. The two things I would improve on: (1) the font drives me crazy. It’s very reminiscent of Comic Sans and it’s hard to take seriously as a grown person. I think an option to change said font would be a welcome upgrade and hopefully it will be a modern and dynamic typeface (please no Arial or Times). (2) It would be cool if you can reset the journey and start over from the beginning - why? As you go along and you get to use the app more you’re more informed about what the app is about so if you were just initially going thru the motions to see if and how the app could or would work out for you then this allows for someone to really put a meaningful effort into it. It’s also weird that there’s details you just can’t change like your name and seemingly email address you signed up with. Other than those two minor things it’s been fun using the app and it’s slowly becoming part of my daily routine (I’ve only missed two days out of 12 total).
