### 3.2 — 2026-08-13

The Training Tank: A daily rivalry with Silas, available from the Aquarium. Master the rythm game to climb the ladder, and losing has its own story worth hearing.

The Gilded Maren and the Reckoning: New narratives evolve throughout the game. Relics you recover and answers you give help unfold the oldest mystery of the bay.

A Vibrant Bay: Rebuilt water with real caustics and crest glints across the whole map. Wildlife out in the open ocean that responds to the reefs you have restored. And now, every region has its own species, matched to the difficulty of the incident you are diving.

- Substantial performance work
- Fixed a bug to ensure Koi actually appear more frequently

### 3.1 — 2026-08-05

The bay has had a going over.

New water. Light now moves across the shallows in shifting caustics, crests catch and glint as they turn, and the shoreline reads as water meeting land rather than a line drawn over it.

Jellyfish rebuilt from the ground up: real tentacles that curl, coil and drift, hanging from the original hand-painted bell.

Fish in your tanks now give way to one another. They ease aside and slow down rather than swimming straight through each other.

A new opening. Marina and Doc meet you on the dock together, and the first screen keeps out of your way until you have raised the shop.

Elsewhere: quicker drawers, a clearer Tank Shop, a tidier map, and a long list of smaller fixes to the HUD, pinch-zoom and story screens.

### 3.0 — 2026-07-30

A whole new look, and new ways to dive!

### 2.1 — 2026-07-23

New: the Calming Ring. Soothe each rescued fish by tapping and swiping in time with the music. Land taps on the beat, grab the stars the moment they appear, and swipe them home. Timing matters: perfect on-beat hits build a chain, and a clean run raises the fish's happiness and rehoming value.

New: Spirit Tide. A calmer camera minigame. Frame and capture the reef's spirit visitors for their portraits.

Other improvements:

- Flow combo, capture mastery, and daily streaks reward diving well and coming back.
- Field Camera for capturing the fish you meet.
- Equipment shortcuts: Gear up, Repair all, and auto-repair, so you spend less time in menus and more in the water.

### 2.0 — 2026-07-19

Reef Rescue 2.0 is here, with 3D fish and a bottomless abyss that hides a mysterious presence...

THE FISH ARE ALIVE
Every fish has been rebuilt as a true 3D creature, and move much more naturally.

THE FATHOM TRENCH
A rare call comes in from the deepest water: an endless descent hiding a mysterious inhabitent. Can you reach them before your air runs out?

THE HUNT
Doc's Almanac now forecasts which rare fish surface in which conditions - dawn on flat water, storm swell, spirit-tide nights. Read the sky to plan your dive.

OTHER FIXES
- Your fish can now live indefinitely, and won't die of natural causes
- Species have preferences: schooling fish want company, shy fish want calm clean water, and the move-to-tank screen tells you where each one would thrive
- A Mailbox gathers letters from across the bay: Doc's field notes, the lightkeeper's scraps, visitors writing home, Corah on your battered gear
- The Chronicle keeps your history - every dive, birth, arrival and farewell
- Weekly market swings: someone is always paying over the odds for something
- Doc's research completes as you rescue, home and breed each species
- Fish now cast shadows through your headlamp beam during night dives
- Music and sound-effects sliders, plus a Power Saving mode
- Smoother harpoon aiming that follows your draw
- Buttons on smaller screens can no longer scroll out of reach
- Many fixes across the bay
