### 4/5 — Useful app

*2012-01-21, version 1.5*

It takes the headache out of working out the amount of additives needed. It could do with a few more manufacturers on i.e. Red Sea Reef Care programme.

### 4/5 — It's ok

*2011-02-01, version 1.5*

Agree it's a bit overpriced. The diy solutions should be included like damprid etc. Alkalinity only goes to 10, where in my tank it's over 10. Instructions on how to dose some products should be included like the mixing % of water to product. And the amount per day/ week...

### 4/5 — Nice App

*2011-01-11, version 1.4*

Very nice simple to use App. Makes dosing a tank easy

### 3/5 — A good start

*2010-02-25, version 0*

A bit overpriced for what it does. I have free apps that do more. Interface could be improved. Entering the tank volume was not obvious. Still a bit buggy. Without a tank volume entered the display should advise you to enter a tank volume before trying to calculate. Kept coming up with 0 for the amount when I first entered a litre value, after changing to gallons then back to litres seemed to get it to work. Can be a useful tool and handy to have on the iphone.
Wouldbe good if magnesium could be calculated as a combination of MgCL and MgSO4

### 1/5 — Can you update it to include aqua forest products please

*2020-06-14*

Can you update to use aquaforest products please 🙄

### 1/5 — Avoid

*2012-10-21, version 1.61*

Worked once for calculating alk for soda ash, now simply crashes when attempting the same

### 1/5 — Sham!

*2010-09-16, version 0*

Well nice waste of money should have been free needs more brands more specific not all reefers own dosers and set ppm drips

### 1/5 — not good

*2010-08-10, version 0*

my iTunes don't want synchronize this apps with my Iphone.... do not loose your money :(

### 1/5 — Dissatisfied

*2010-02-07, version 0*

This was not worth $2.99. Should have been $.99. Actually, a lite version first. Not as robust as I thought.

### 2/5 — Needs more work

*2011-04-10, version 1.5*

For me, This application is not worth the money. It does not include the product I use, and the developer doesn't seem to take feedback on board, after asking for tropic Marin calcium and magnesium and triple buffer some months ago. Please update to include tropic Marin products as many Aussie reefers use these products!!!

### 3/5 — En français

*2011-10-10, version 1.5*

Serrais super en français merci

### 3/5 — CFS Reef Doser

*2010-12-30, version 1.4*

I really like the app but there are a some short falls that to me take it from a 5 to a 3.

1) In Alklinity it only lists 3 items not names of products. The issue with this is some are more concentrated then others.
2) it maxes desired dKh to 10 and I like higher
3) Calcium was great.
4) Magnesium was also too low. Maxes out at 1400

Change the mag to higher max and add the brands for Alk and Ill change it to a 5

### 3/5 — Not a sham

*2010-10-27, version 0*

This is a pretty good app, it just needs to be more comprehensive. The qty to add is listed in grams for all of the additives I use. The problem with that though is that I premix my additives with RO water and thus the result in grams requires me to perform more calculations to get the result I need. Until this is changed it is not useful for me. This app could also have reminders for dosing as a useful function.

### 3/5 — Review by ReefCentral's "thebanker"

*2010-07-11, version 0*

Pros: easy to use for addition of calcium and magnesium. Has brightwell as one of the supplement brands, which is nice.

Cons: can't adjust unit of measurement for solid supplements, would be nice to have volumetric units. Why doesn't it have brands of alkalinity supplements?

Overall it's good, but it falls a tad short of jdieck's web reef calculator we all know and love. With a few updates, this app could be awesome!

### 5/5 — Update

Thank you 😀

### 5/5 — Stunningly useful app for reefers

*2011-04-27, version 1.5*

Absolutely love this!
Request! : salifert products! Particularly for the Kh buffer, spins my mind trying to work out dosage for buffering RO top up water! Another thing to think about would be salt brands to SG ie: red sea pro x cups for x gallons at x temp, this isnt a complaint coz this app is awesome, just a suggestion!

### 5/5 — Superb tool, fantastic value!

*2011-01-23, version 1.5*

I credit this app with enabling me to get on top of unfavourable parameters with accuracy, confidence and relative speed (allowing for the 'nothing good happens quickly in reefing' mantra).
A fantastically helpful tool that eliminates formulas / Internet searches for the cost of a chocolate bar. AND now it ALSO does Balling Light so even better value still - you can't go wrong with this app and it's sister app Ultimate Reef.

### 5/5 — Good app

*2010-12-29, version 1.4*

Good app gona save me loadsa time

### 5/5 — Great app

*2010-07-20, version 0*

Excellent, a real time saver, a must for all reef keepers, no more formulas

### 5/5 — Brilliant time saving App

*2010-03-01, version 0*

This is a great app, saves lots of time referring to charts or inputting data on-line.

### 4/5 — Red sea!!!!

*2014-10-15, version 2.0*

Pas mal dommage que le test kh ne soit pas en liquide
Très bien pour calculer la dose de CA et MG manquante dans mon aqua

### 4/5 — Perfect

*2012-07-19, version 1.61*

Great app but needs red sea products added.
