I have been trying to use this app for some time. In the registration process you are prompted to enter your location. They use a google plugin for locations. When I type anything into the box, it shows a frowning cloud and “try again”. I’ve contacted support several times and they won’t provide a solution.

Was never able to get in.  Every time I was trying to complete the profile it would crash.  Just got fed up after several attempts and deleted it.

If it’s not happening to everyone, it’s usually case-specific. We also just did 2 app updates within the last week and you could’ve been trying to create a profile under an obsolete version. :-)

Loved this app, until yesterday. I’m a pro member, and as of yesterday, nothing works. The profiles and the timeline no longer load. I deleted, and reinstalled the app. I also contacted support, and haven’t heard back anything.

App is poorly designed and glitchy.  Not enough users to make this “social media”.  Customer service is just the worst.  Might as well not even have it.  

The events they host are lackluster, and if cancelled no refunds are issued.

Stick to existing platforms, with enough population to make a connection.

After the most recent update REEGÜR fails to load at all. Have deleted and reinstalled the app multiple times, app either hangs when loading after logged in or fails to log in after a reinstall. This app is garbage now, I don’t know why it’s so hard to keep this much needed app up to date and working.

App continually crashes, forcing your sessions closed and for you to re-verify your credentials. Upon doing this numerous times in one day, it locked me out saying “all activity is blocked from this device, due to unusual activity“. The only unusual activity, was me using this app

REEGÜR app feels like an app from 2008, the year App Store opened for the first time, the year 3G had just become a thing on an iPhone. The point: REEGÜR app is horribly dated with a horrible UI and UX. Here are some of the most annoying things about REEGÜR app:

1. No edge swipe in 2021. Gurl, seriously? This alone warrants booting from the App Store.

2. Map pin, magnifying glass, and notification bell (at the very top) are crammed together in the corner, making it harder to tap one or the other.

3. NEW TO REEGÜR bar with profiles at the top takes up too much screen real estate. What’s worse is that it doesn’t go away with scrolling. It’s fixed in position.

4. Pig icon and heart icon on profiles pretty much do the same thing. Seriously, get rid of one! Stop confusing your users!

5. When you leave the app, all background processes are killed (except for notifications obviously). That’s super annoying because every time you reopen the app (even as soon as one minute later), it restarts with the annoying WELCOME splash screen, which lasts a good 5 seconds. That’s in 2021 where even a split millisecond delay feels like eternity.

6. Profiles are split into two separate sections, Stats and Bio, which makes it very unlikely for visitors to tap on Bio because, well, that’s an extra tap. What’s worse is that the two sections are unswipeable between each other. The better design would be to consolidate them into a longer single scroll page.

7. There’s absolutely no visual indication whatsoever that a user has more than one photo (unless you tap on the main photo itself). As a result, most visitors won’t see your other photos because they won’t even think to tap on the main photo in the first place. A very unintuitive design.

8. Do you know how long it takes for your profile to appear AWAY on REEGÜR? FIVE FREAKIN HOURS!!!! For five hours after leaving the app, you appear to others as an online, active and obsessive app user. It’s obvious why REEGÜR did that: to give it the false appearance of the bustle. In reality, most users haven’t reopened the app in more than 2864 hours (yup, that’s how stupidly precise the app displays your last activity). Good God!

9. Related to #8: You see that toggle that shows you ONLINE and RECENTS when enabled? Right, it does show you ONLINE and RECENTS. But do you know what REEGÜR considers RECENTS? As far back as ‘2920 hours ago’ (maybe even more) is considered RECENT according to REEGÜR. Do you know what 2920 hours is? That’s FOUR FREAKIN MONTHS! Yup, REEGÜR thinks that being online 4 months ago is being recently online. Who in their right mind thinks 4 months ago is recent?! I mean if an atomic bomb blew 4 months ago, that’s definitely recent. But 4 months ago on a hookup site, that’s by no means recent, that’s like 4,000,000,000 years ago.

10. Did I say no edge swipe?

One star until everything is addressed.
