### 5/5 — Nothing like it on the market

*2026-05-13*

Love the social media aspect and inspires good discourse too

### 5/5 — This is exactly what I’ve been wanting for years when it comes to an app for tracking my films.

*2026-05-13*

Clean interface, easy to navigate, cool social components, but not required if you just want to use it for private tracking. Easy to throw down wishlist ideas quickly. Big fan.

### 5/5 — Fun

*2026-05-13*

Easy to use. Fun to see what friends think of a movie/show

### 5/5 — just what the movie world needed

*2026-05-13*

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — False Advertising

*2026-08-03*

Saw an ad on Instagram trying to say this is superior to Letterboxd and it most certainly isn’t. While all features may be free, you still have to invite friends and have them join to fully unlock everything. UI also doesn’t look as good as Letterboxd despite them saying the opposite. Didn’t even seen an option to read reviews from anyone other than your friends either.

### 1/5 — beli may sue you

*2026-06-09*

this interface is a crazy rip off

### 2/5 — Nice idea: questionable implementation

*2026-07-19*

When it asked for my phone number, I should have known better. But now, to unlock some basic features it wants me to invite friends and then the features will only work if they sign up. If they sign up. That’s a real shame, as the app has a lot going for it. I just shouldn’t have to turn over contact info or push friends to sign up just to use this

### 2/5 — Not a great system for movies

*2026-07-17*

I like the idea in concept, especially the fact that it allows you to import from Letterboxd as well as log TV shows which is desperately needed on Letterboxd however its system for movies is just wrong? I don’t wanna rank every single movie I watch. Furthermore, when you import your letterbox data, it was assigning somewhat random scores to some of my movies. For example, I’ve had Scooby-Doo (2002) at a five out of five on Letterboxd for years now, but when it was imported, it was dropped down to a 9.3. Ironic because in my review, I say it’s better than Citizen Kane.

Developers responded so I’m adding on: you guys fundamentally misunderstand why I and others use Letterboxd. Like I mentioned in my review, I don’t want to rank EVERY movie I watch. I just want a log/diary and the ability to review the film. Furthermore, adding a decimal point to the numbered score means I now have to score it out of 100. That’s simply to many numbers. Personally I prefer Roger Eberts 4 star system, however Letterboxds 5 star (technically out of 10, given you can do half stars) is significantly better than your system of 1-10 plus a decimal. It’s already an arbitrary number that doesn’t encapsulate the experience of watching a film, so adding more to that number makes it even more difficult to leave a review.

**Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback! We're currently working on a project where after you import from LB, you can go through a series of head-to-head matchups to more accurately rank all of your inputs!

### 3/5 — No tracking or recommendations

*2026-07-26*

I don't like that you can't track the tv shows, especially that some shows are super long and require tracking. I also don't like that it doesn't recommend new movies or shows based on what you like, which I think should be the point. Other than that I really like the modern interface.

### 4/5 — Cool app

*2026-08-12*

I really enjoy this app but there is a lot that is locked when you first get it

### 4/5 — Good alternative to letterboxd

*2026-06-10*

Really like the rating system and how different it is to letterboxd, while still allowing you to import from letterboxd. Would really appreciate a dark mode, it hurts my eyes

**Developer response:** Dark mode has been added! :)

### 4/5 — Just the app I wanted

*2026-05-28*

In a perfect world, this becomes more popular than letterbox’d.
I love this app and its rating system. It encourages you to rate movies and shows based more on how you like it than how everyone else views it. My only critique is that it’s a bit 🤏 lackluster, but once there’s more features, I can see it easily surpassing letterbox’d.

**Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback! Our app is still in early stages, so we're adding a bunch of features shortly :)

### 5/5 — So fun

*2026-08-31*

I love this app! If you love movies, if you’re just getting into movies… download it! The only note and my one ask is please add horror to the taste profile!!

### 5/5 — Great

*2026-08-03*

I love how it includes TV Shows and lets you rank everything in a scale of 1-10 instead 1 star to 5 stars. Just wish it would let you do it by choosing the rank instead of making you rank it compared to other movies. Overall great

## Most praised reviews (8 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Better than the other app 100%

*2026-07-26*

This app is making logging movies feel fun and addicting, not like a chore, I prefer this and I feel my movies are rated more accurately.

### 5/5 — Fantastic

*2026-07-24*

Easy to use imports your Letterboxd account and lets you rate out of 10.0 so fire

### 5/5 — This is the best movie rating app I have ever used, it is by far better than letterboxd, IMDb, etc.

*2026-07-22*

The review system of judging a movie against a different movie is so good, and the entire look and feel is awesome.

### 5/5 — Better than Letterbox

*2026-07-18*

Love everything about this rating system, the only critique I would make is when you gain the ability to make your own lists, we should be able to have them ranked in the list so we can be able to make different genre movies or shows and see how they’re ranked on lists for ourselves. Other than that this app has been great and way easier to use than any other movie rating app I’ve found.

### 5/5 — Impressed

*2026-07-11*

Very good movie rating app, I like it better than letterboxd so far. Great start to what will hopefully become a beloved app.

### 5/5 — Superb App, makes more sense than Letterbox

*2026-07-09*

Love the app, the ranking system make the guessing game easier for us! Would recommend maybe adding a fav actor/actress page using the films you rank that appear consistently.

### 5/5 — The Real deal

*2026-06-30*

This app is really cool because you can review movies and shows with your friends or with others online and you can also find other movies TV series through this app to watch as well

### 5/5 — ditch letterboxd

*2026-06-29*

i like this app much better than letterboxd. the UI is stronger and i love the ranking system. getting all the homies on here asap
