Reelay decides whose turn it is to pick, hides everyone's ratings until the whole group has watched, and quietly builds a shared history of your taste. WHOSE TURN IS IT? Round-robin order, set the first time your group hits two members. The next picker gets pinged. No one has to remember whose turn it was last month. PICK A FILM Search The Movie Database in-app, set "Up Next," leave a short "why I picked this" note. Your group sees the poster, the note, and a Where to Watch sheet with deep links into Netflix, Max, Apple TV+, Hulu, Disney+, Prime Video, Criterion Channel, Mubi, and more. WATCH ON YOUR OWN TIME Each member marks Watched and rates the film on a five-star, half-star scale, with an optional one-line note. Even as the person in charge, can’t reverse someone’s mistake if they accidentally click something or change their mind. **Developer response:** Update — this shipped in 1.3.0. You can now change a pick or take it back, un-mark yourself watched, edit your notes after the reveal, and reopen ratings when someone taps by mistake. Picked the wrong film? Change it, or take the pick back. Tapped "watched" by accident? Undo it. Typo in your note? Edit it — even after the reveal. And if ratings unlock before your club is ready, the picker or the group owner can reopen them so people can rate again. Passing the reel is undoable too. A few things now warn you before they happen. You'll know when you're the last one left to watch, because sealing your rating is what reveals everyone's. And swapping a film tells you exactly whose ratings that would delete, by name.
