## What is Refil?

Refil helps you spend less on gas. See the gas stations and EV chargers around you on one map, and drive straight to the cheapest one.

• Gas prices in the US come from drivers like you, per gallon: the more people report, the more you see. Every price shows where it comes from and how recently it was updated. We never estimate a price.
• EV charging: charging stations and power levels across the US.
• Official prices where they exist: the UK, Australia, Mexico, Chile, Spain, Portugal, France, Germany, Italy, Austria, Slovenia, Denmark, Argentina and Türkiye. Community-sourced where they don't, like in the US, Switzerland and most of Canada.
• Find the cheapest station near you or near any address.
• Favorites and a "best day to fill up" heads-up for your area.
• Widgets, CarPlay and Live Activities so it's always at hand.
• Multiple vehicles and your real savings, calculated.
• Privacy first: your location is used on-device only, never shared.

Refil Pro (optional subscription):
• Price-drop alerts for your stations and your area.
• Heads-up to fill up before a price rise.

Download it free and start saving on every fill-up.

—
Refil Pro is an auto-renewable subscription (monthly or yearly); the price is shown in the app before you confirm. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase and renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period. Manage or cancel in your Apple Account settings.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 2.1.0 — 2026-11-04

• Prices read like the sign at the gas station, with the last digit smaller. And one color for each thing: green for savings, red for rising, blue for alerts.
• The map, Search and Favorites start with the cheapest and show how far below the area average it is.
• Simpler sheets: one main button and just the right height. Profile opens with what you've saved so far, and "Preferences" gathers vehicle, filters, icon and appearance.
• Widgets, Lock Screen, Live Activities, Apple Watch and CarPlay show the same figure, with its ↓/↑ arrow.
• If your Pro comes from inviting friends, we let you know 3 days before it ends. And the forecast text now explains better what Pro adds.
• Electric: filter chargers by power and by operator, see what a charge costs with your car, and get an alert when your favourite charger is back in service.

### 2.0.0 — 2026-10-30

• Refil now fits the iPhone Duo: unfolded, the map runs edge to edge and cards sit to one side of the fold.
• Folded, the tab bar moves to the side column and sheets no longer stretch underneath it.
• Bug fixes and stability improvements.

### 1.7.0 — 2026-10-19

• Ask Siri "How much is the cheapest?" — it tells you the price and lets you navigate, no need to open the app (iOS 26).
• The Pro paywall is clearer: your real savings in the headline when we know them, the annual plan always visible, and the whole deal before you start the free trial.
• If you start the free Pro trial, we'll remind you 2 days before it ends.
• Alert me if it rises: turn it on when you see your savings and we'll warn you before prices go up. The next day we tell you if we got it right — your track record lives in Profile.
• Bug fixes and stability improvements.

### 1.6.1 — 2026-10-10

• Simpler Search: type where you're going and choose "Stations in…" or "Stations on the way to…". Save your destinations for next time.
• On the way, your way: choose how far you can go (25, 50 or 100 km, or the whole trip), see each station along the trip strip and how much you save per tank. Your first full route is free.
• Invite without an account: you can now share your pass from Profile without signing in. Entering a friend's pass still needs an account.
• Signing in no longer starts from scratch: sign in with Apple or Google and keep your favorites, alerts and invitations.
• Before starting the free Pro trial you see the whole deal: how long it lasts and what it costs afterwards. No surprises.
• "Best day to refuel" is now on if you get notifications. You can turn it off in Preferences.
• After filling up, save the station to your favorites with one tap.
• Refil is better at telling which country you're in near a border.
• Bug fixes and stability improvements.

### 1.6.0 — 2026-10-03

• Your refuel day: Refil learns how often you fill up and, when it's time, reminds you with the cheapest station nearby and whether prices go up or down tomorrow. It adjusts on its own and you can turn it off in Preferences.
• Invite friends, earn Pro: share your pass with anyone who fills up. Your friend enters it in Refil and gets 30 days of Pro, and once they've used the app for a few days, you earn a month of Pro. Find it in Profile (account required; limits shown there).
• Your pass levels up: its finish changes as friends join with it, from silver to gold and beyond.
• The Collection: app icons you can't buy. You earn them only by inviting friends: Co-pilot with 1, Lime with 2, Ambassador with 3 (plus seasonal icons on special dates), Night with 5 and Piggy bank with 7.
• A cleaner Profile: the forecast and your alerts up top, then your pass; your vehicle, filters, navigation and loyalty cards below. Plus a new Personalisation section to pick the app icon and the appearance (light, dark or system).
• A faster start: pick your fuel and by the third screen you're already looking at the cheapest station near you. Rather not share your location? Choose a city instead.
• Fewer interruptions: price-rise alerts are offered when they make sense, not the moment you open the app, and never more than one suggestion per visit.
• Refil dresses up for special dates: a different launch animation every now and then.
• A new dark map: easier to read at night, with prices that stand out.
• The map loads faster and uses less data: if prices haven't changed, they aren't downloaded again.
