Shauna has such a beautiful way of bringing out the best in your spirit. Her voice is so perfect and the messages bring you closer to pure peace. People tend to REALLY like them, even though the typical person will stop using an app after less than a year and discontinue their subscription. It’s a win for you AND for those of us who prefer lifetime licenses. ### 5/5 — Gaining Peace of Mind 8 minutes at a Time *2020-11-28, version 1.0.1* I’ve tried (and failed) at meditating for over a decade. Honestly, the thought of slowing down and sitting still for more than 20 minutes causes anxiety & boredom. But I knew that my mind needed the healing support of meditation so I kept attempting to find a meditation system that worked. Even Christian meditations did not produce the calming results I desired. When I heard about Refill My Soul meditations through I was skeptical. However, I decided to experiment for 7 days (before I could conclude with finality that “meditation just wasn’t for me”). And because each meditation was only 8 minutes, I didn’t really have that much to lose. For the first few days, I didn’t notice any changes. That was a little disappointing but I determined to finish the experiment. To my surprise, by the end of the week, I found myself *looking forward* to those 8 minutes — and even doing additional meditations throughout the day if I needed to recenter. These meditations have been especially valuable during this time of chaos and fear. I am grateful for the calm and clarity of mind that I feel when I meditate. I feel that I am mastering my mind 8 minutes at a time. I love hearing the words from the Bible and other scriptures, including words spoke recently in General Conference. I began using the free version of this app and liked it. As I used it more I decided it was enough of a benefit I wanted access to the other meditations. I am thankful for the work, the time, the editing and everything else that has gone into this app. I’m also grateful for the additional meditations that have been added. I have had the app for several months now and I have used it every single day before I pray. It has changed the way I approach my Heavenly Father in prayer and has been a conduit to heaven for me. The topics are so varied and I can always find a relevant meditation to suit whatever is going on in my life to help me to refocus. My only complaint is that when the notification comes up and gives you an inspired suggestion for a certain meditation that day, only to click on it and it not take you straight to that one. There are far too many meditations to locate what they had tempted you with. Other than that, I love this app. They add new meditations regularly - especially after conference. They have a completed button function to keep track of those you’ve listened to, which is very useful given the amount of meditations. I’ve tried various meditation apps to help me feel grounded, find peace, and also fall asleep in a more relaxed state. I never quite found what I was looking for until I discovered this app!
